Severe balance issues (level1-4 6&7, 1 try each, level 5 about 10 attempts, level 8 I quite after ~30 attempts)...and the way 'range' works is totally screwed.
The game not working with some browsers IS a reason to give it a low rating. Just because he says it doesn't work doesn't make it ok, it still doesn't work.
The game is broken, therefore lowest possible rating.
waaay too copy&pasted to get more than a 1/5. Both in that you pasted it from a tutorial, and that it's exactly the same as a million other pacman clones out there....
I've upped my rating to 4/5, I guess I was wrong about lack of replayability....the challenge makes me keep coming back. Admittedly it's the challenge of beating levels without juggling, which obviously isn't what the developers had in mind, but still....
What I mean is that you don't know exactly where things are going to go....you can't tell that there's going to be a crapload of infantry flooding one path until it happens, multiple paths can be good....but in this case it's not...having to repeatedly die (on hard ofc) in order to see what's going to happen on certain waves in order to place your towers effectively isn't fun.
Multiple paths make it impossible to plan without having first died on that level;TD games are entirely based on planning. On predictable enemies...very poor all round...nice as the graphics and sounds are, the game itself...is crap.
awkward to play, selecting towers to upgrade them is difficult, and the delay between clicking something and being able to click anything else is annoying. You really need to get things like that working BEFORE fancy graphics.
