What could be the reason for my game to lag so badly when bubbles appear? I mean, half of the time, game gets so slow than the bubble goes from the middle to the spikes before game moves again, and 90% of the time happens when a bubble is in the screen :/ quite annoying to catch them
hmm I don't like that spike thing because your time to react sometimes is too low with fast bubbles. Can't you make it so they pop with the middle of the bubble not the border? Or place them a little closer to the energy bar, even making them smaller would help with that.
I think having 10, 25, 50 and 100% is a waste, you should remove 25 and instead adding the option to buy only 50 units, sometimes 10 is too low and 100 too much.
It's a nice game, but it needs a lot of optimization in the code. After you've played a lot, and you have improved a few tubes, game starts getting really lagged, and I mean REALLY lagged, even lagging now while I'm writing this. For some reason the game starts using way more resources than it should need for a game like this, which means there is something in the late game that keeps adding unnecesary data and ends up really slow. Then when I activate the meta-energy it works just fine again. Sometimes it seems to stop lagging after a while, but the first few minutes after you open it, it's like it runs at 10 fps. And with a 6 core processor, 12gb ram and a 2gb gforce vcard, I don't think it's my pc.
We've tried it with different browsers and really late into the game (1e5000+ energy), but were unable to see big lags. However, kongregate website itself can sometimes cause lags the more you play (seems to be the ads, if we use adblocker, lags disappear). Maybe the reason for lags is something else?
Fix the tutorial, it bores you way before you even start playing. Don't give all the facts at the same time, space them out when they're actually needed, and/or add the option to check or not the tutorial before you start playing.
Is this a new trend in idle games? To start using a lot of CPU and start lagging a lot after 10 minutes? Because I'm seeing it more and more on newest games
Not playing this crap anymore until you fix the lag issue, it's impossible to play, even with a 6 core CPU, a 2gb vcard and 12gb ram if after 20 or 30 minutes idle the game starts using all the cpu and all the browser becomes unusable.
This game has a lousy optimization, when I play it for a while, even if I let it be and don't but anything, it starts to lag like hell, and causes the browser to use way too much processor, and I'm not talking some old shitty PC, but a 12gb ram 6 core procesor with a 2gb v-card, not even last gen games lag so badly on this :/ there is some line code loose out there that is giving problems and probably causing a loop, you should check that. It's really annoying to leave the game open or play for a while and then your browser needs 20% CPU and you have to restart it :/
wth? :/ game isn't loading anymore. Well it does load, but when it finishes loading, I simply get an orange screen, no game :/ for this I've been playing the game for so long?
Can't say it's bad, but it isn't good either. You basically hit every button that gets enabled and that's all you need to do. There's no strategy, no decisions, nothing, you just click white buttons like a monkey. Try adding something that the player can actually decide to do or not, and reward it for that.
I'm starting to get tired of disabling the sound, just to find it on again when I come back to the game the next day, or basically every time the game loads again. Didn't happen before last patch, any chance you can fix it? Only seems to happen to me with sound, not music.
The only thing you should change is the numbers to round down, instead of up. Like if you have 22.5 in your income, show 22, not 23, otherwise if an upgrade's cost was 23, we know we don't have enough money xD
It's really strange. We try to look into performance, but there is not a lot of action on screen to really lag something. But we'll look further.
