Most of players when starting save for the economy uprade the one that gives u more gold even without having leveled up a single point into sword. U can choose to block it as a dev and force the player to go discovering other skills than only gold one. Maybe not all monsters drop gold. Some drop only gold others drop tiny gold huge exp, Others 50-50 others nothing. U can force the player also to advance by givin monsters not dropping anything at all anymore if they are being one-shot. This way the player has to advance into other levels and not just click and click and keep clickn but manage the resources available...
Maybe dont make all levels the same amount of slots. Maybe The boss tile could be a different map with Guardians surrounding the boss. Or different maps with different sizes. Like when ascending The first map has 5x5 the next floor is an uprade screen the next one is 7x7 the next one is a crafting floor. That makes the player think what he should do and what he needs to do in order to reach the craftin or the uprade screen. Maybe different difficulties. If he doesnt reach the uprade or craftin map in 4 deaths he looses a random equipment or skills. This way u can add penalties and different difficulties to the game. Theres lots of things u can do :) Be a benevolent god please. As i said hope this game has lots of development :)
U can make the game even longer by replacing sword/shield/armor with skills also adding more levels.. Problem with that is that if u dont add different things onto the game it start getting tedious and boring. Maybe Crafting, Choosing paths that leads u to closed ones (a labyrinth), Keep the single player please. Dont turn it into a 3 hero player card game :D.
Undortunately it seems the sun puzzle has a different default for everyone cause mine has a totally different start from the walkthrough one and just tired me to hell ..
Funny how the thumnail picture of the walkthough is exactly the reason why im started looking it .. Those damn sun black line circles made my brain explode ..
wow, thank you for the detailed feedback and for the good ideas! I'm glad you liked the game :)
