(I want an impossible medal for getting first place on all tracks with the non-special car. I was so determined to "be the best" that I just kept replaying the final level until I got 1st place. Then once I activated the special car [Having already gotten first place on all levels] I was borderline offended at the idea of calling "Addicted to Winning" a "hard" badge. That special car is cake.)
I still love this game, but the idea that I slow down and they don't when we bump is ridiculous. I assume that the programming would be dumb to implement both of us slowing down, as that would mean a single touch would lead virtually instantly to a dead stop. However, the idea that I can go from 230 down to 170 just because the guy in front of me who was going 190 decided to swerve in front of me, keep in mind that guy is in 10th place, is incredibly frustrating.
I was having a blast until I froze it! Kind of surprised at how laggy it is considering my comp has easily handled MMOs in the past with no lag at all. Utilizing bows was pretty challenging when the hitboxes were as specific as they were and the lag made my shots go just a bit left or right (Difference between a headshot and a shoulder shot). I playfully downed the Gob-Lock and about 10 cronies by dancing around a turret for a few minutes (I basically just ran through the forest to get to him, barely killed a guy along the way). Definitely fun with some great potential! I'll be looking forward to more.
This game feels like a massive missed opportunity. If this were an alpha, or even a beta, it wouldn't be bad. But as it is, there's barely enough in there to call it a game. Leveling up feels pretty useless without some sort of skill tree for either character. The lack of diversity in the armory is pretty sad. I didn't use any of my keys because the financial payout wasn't very useful (i.e. waste of my time to use them). The limitation of advanced weapons to coming from the armory and gems only coming form battle made the treasure chest thing even more useless. The lack of diversity in the battles made it fairly plain. And finally, the simplicity of being able to get an auto-clicker and completely bypass virtually every dynamic of the "game" is pretty disappointing. (Side note, whoever inspired you to put the hotkeys backward, 5-1 instead of 1-5, should have their head dunked in ice water). I really do enjoy the concept, I just wish it were flushed out.
I actually didn't mind the "lack of tutorial" as I found the controls quite intuitive. The only frustration I found was the number of times I told my guy to lick and he'd lick a millisecond too early or too late. Widening the "lick time" would be helpful.
Hello! What do you mean by "freezes"? I just try it in Story mode twice with cracking dragon's egg and without, and game still worked in both. If you mean, what picture is freezes, then let us know more information like gamemode, your actions (like: changing tabs) and anything you think is important.
Freezes once I beat the first level... Buttons register my mouse, just don't do anything (restart, levels, etc. Although buttons that lead to links like Solutions and Armor Games work).
The way to buy the rare+ items in the shop is to keep items in your inventory. Once you see an item in the shop that you want, sell your whole inventory. Boom - New shiny.
Thumbs up so that peeps can see.
Thanks for the play and I am glad you enjoyed it. Also thanks for the critiques, they are helpful and much appreciated!
