Terrible game, no quality options, laggy, and it's just retarded that you launch through the middle of the earth first. Story is laughably bad. First game was crap, this is the turd on the bottom of the first games shoe.
Zump that's a very weird problem. Are you sure you're lowering the graphics setting to low? Because I have a TERRIBLE computer (It runs basically nothing) and this game is one of the few that is very well programmed and actually runs at a decent framerate on it. Just make sure all the graphics stuff is on low in options (Theres extra stuff like particles and things, put all that to low/0 as well).
Missile-Only challenge is possible, though Wave 13 or 14 (Forgot which) will take you about 15 attempts while you build up enough money to upgrade your missiles to the point you can win, it's smooth sailing from there though.
I want to see this ending but I suck so bad I can't beat Hades =( 5/5 game anyway, it's a lot of fun and I can't mark a game down because I suck at it =)
Wow another example of 'I don't know how to make a game so I'll use 50 billion visual effects to make it look like I made a good game'. Spawns are ridiculous, black holes are ridiculous, visual effects are over the top and unnecissary. Not only has it been done a million times before. You cloned some of the WORST shooter features into your game. Pretty much did everything wrong that you could have, 2/5 for effort.
Don't bother with this is you are on an older computer, it was made pretty via brute force rather than any logical programming or design. 4/5 because the game is pretty cool, but it just sucks that I can only play this on my good computer, because I usually use my crap PC for flash games, and play WoW on my good computer.
I agree with hmdrake, I hate all these stupid shooters where you have to pick up a billion items dropped by enemies, it's stupid and more often than not all it does is test your dodging skill while you randomly spray weapons in every direction, we need shooters based on SHOOTING.
What is with the idiots complaining that the game is too long? Nobody is forcing a gun to your head and making you play the whole thing. Surely you realize that it's just more of the same, with slight variations. This is good for people that WANT to play that much, and if you don't, you aren't missing anything by stopping.
While I don't mind the key layout either, a WASD layout would be much more convenient. Maybe an option to customize it. But it's not an urgent problem, Whiterabbits method works just fine
Stormrunner what has deleting cookies got to do with losing your save progress? The only way you can delete your progress without manually removing the Shared Object File is to use a program like CrapCleaner that gets rid of everything 'unnecessary' on your computer, and that can be configured to not remove SOL files.
Found a way to mangle your sound code, Die in the same turn you're supposed to finish the level. The game restarts twice and you don't stopsound() before you play the music again, so you end up with two songs playing at once. Also muting only disables one of them, even going back to the main menu doesnt work.
I can't even do the first one. I'm assuming X (f(x)?) is a polynomial of degree 26. I have a feeling expanding it is not the right way to go since that would take like 15 minutes. I think I'm missing something here >_>

Just looked up the GiaB website, the prequel to this looks amazing, some really intuitive gameplay mechanics there. Screenshots don't look too bad, I see there is both grassy and rocky terrain (hopefully lots more too)
Yeah I know eh, the ratings speak for themselves stop QQing about Gemcraft being on top. Theres a reason it's on top, because it's different and BETTER than any other TD game, just like sonny is different and better than any other RPG. So stop whinging about 'Gemcraft is just another TD Bawwww'
