7225 points. I'm in 90th place on today's leaderboard. Nice game. Reminds me of that elephant rave game only much better. The only bug I ran into is that the music stopped playing at around 4500 points or so.
There's a glitch in the game/kong api. You don't have to complete the milestone levels to get the badges. i.e. Complete level 19. When it takes you to Level 20, press the left arrow to go back to 19, then press right to go back to Level 20. Voila, instant badge. Not a huge issue, but a bug none the less...
Now they add a save feature and badges after I already beat it... Did better the second time through though. 173 second time through. 179 first time through.
WOW!!! After winning the game, I feel like watching Fern Gully!!! Seriously though, okay game, great graphics - more suited towards a younger audience with good mouse skills. 3/5 (up-down-up-down on my scale for different reasons).
I was skeptical at first; the whole zen reference. But having studied a little bit about it, I can certainly see the metaphor. I'm impressed. 5 stars from me.
It also needs some sort of target management. too many times I have to fight two guys; one almost dead and one at full strength. My character invariably attacks the one at full strength which allows the almost dead one more chances to get free hits on me.
Needs some work. Seems like it gets harder the more you play/buy. Closing my browser and reloading makes the game easier. Buying armor shouldn't make the enemies more plentiful. And I have to agree with the earlier comment that headless archers are pretty good shots. Oh yeah, don't pause the game when you die, you will lose your few seconds of invulnerability.
Ooooo. It's like a slip and slide! Personally I hate games like this. Not because the physics of controlling a car on a slippery surface aren't correct, but because there's no physical feedback as with a real car. Nothing the creator can fix, unfortunately...
Good game. Not as hard as the first one (timing elements in the first one). But fun just the same. Reminds me of the "Gobliins" from way back. I'd love to see those remade - hint hint.
