The controls are really difficult. This game reaches a new high point in floaty jumping. Also, the story is weak. I prefer a platformer that doesn't insult me when I jump into a spike.
Not too bad, good hit detection, but the gameplay has been done so many times before.
Also, the space ship looks a little bit too much like a male member.
Impossible to tell what the computer will do, because it doesn't use gold to make units. I can hold off all their units with my turrets, but they keep coming.
Not bad. I would make the normal game a 'challenge mode' and have the normal game be no lives where you just have to beat the level to unlock the next one. Maybe have multiple branches based on different exits in the game. Also, the jumping physics is strange. You have very little air control and I died a couple of times just figuring out how to jump on the trampolines.
Good game though, and I hope you spend some time to perfect it. Also, add Kongregrate score API.
Nice improvements. Try showing the max combo on the scoreboard and there's something wrong with the sound, the hit sound doesn't seem to be synced up right.
Well, the color doesn't change the difficulty, that's true. The thing is that you can have the different colors represent different patterns, so the player can think things like "Crap, there's a bunch of blue ones coming up in the next wave. I hate how they dodge to the left when I get near them."
No score, no reward, no point.
This is a test program you write while trying to learn how to make a real game. Don't upload things like this to a flash game site.
Different sizes and different movement patterns and different colors Some could zigzag or come from the sides. You could have different point values for ones that are harder to hit.
