It'd be nice if there were a color block that resembles skin color, or maybe desert sand. I like making sprites, but I often don't have a block for skin color.
Also: It might help the game speed a bit if you either simplified or just removed the background(or at least give an option to turn off) and remove the shadows on the blocks. To be honest, they do look that good, anyways. And, a flashy main menu would really help get more people to play. When I first loaded this game, I thought, "Oh, great, this is gonna suck. There's barely even a main menu." Maybe making the ball more like a marble or some such would help as well.
Really nice game, if you bring it into the 21st century. I like the concept, but it still needs a lot of work. Some angled platforms would be nice, for example. Maybe some gravity changers and what-not. I look forward to seeing the completed version.
For those of you dieing early on, flight has it's place in battle, too. Meaning that if you're about to die, use the damn escape wings. That way, you keep your gold, artifacts, and any stat gems you collect. Then, you can die on a later floor.
I agree with what most other people are saying. The limit on certain parts, such as skills or drones, is extremely annoying. Especially for those of us that have beaten the game and are trying to make a cool looking ship. And, also, there should be some smaller parts with level 2 and 3 skills, just like in Episode one. Also, Respawn time should be dependant on teh size of the ship. Small ships respawn fast, while large ships take a while. That way it will make players think more about what they put on their ships. A really fun game, overall, but these restrictions are really killing it. :(
Best part of this game is the siplicity of it, and the music. The music is epic. And fitting. Plus, there's no complicated back story. Instead, you can use your imagination as to what's going on. I give it a 5/5, because the pixelized graphics also give it a more classic look.
For those of you with large ships that want to make a new one, I have a shortcut for removing all the parts, if you haven't found it already. Simply move everything away from teh core until it all becomes a faded green. Then, simply hit reconstruct. ^_^
It'd be nice if you could buy parts with no abilities, just to add on to your core, or, at the very least, to help in designing a ship. Better yet, it'd be coll if you could buy blank parts and then use credits to put your own abilities on them.
WHY?! Why do rooms have to delete themselves while you're still in them?! I spent almost 7 hours drawing stuff in a room with my friend. The room was at least half full. And then BAM!! The room closed. Fix it, please.
I'm all for saving rooms and all, especially since I'm tired of getting kicked out of my room that I spent ten hours on and it getting deleted, but won't that cause a HUGE number of rooms that no one uses to flood the list? If you do that, Make it to where after a certain amount of time, say, a day or two, the room is deleted if no one goes in it.
I give this game a 5/5, beacuse it just rocks. It could possibly be cool if there was a level up system, true, but I think that this system of finding those gem thingies to increase your attributes is much more unique and clever. Bravo.
Needs a toggle sound, but other than that, this game rocks. I especially enjoy the comic storyline, and some of the cheats, thanks to ffreak3. And the perks are great. All in all, a generic shooter with it's own unique perks. It gets a 4/5 due to the lack of volume control.
