Bloody hell, what a great game! Reminds me of Walker from the old days of the Amiga scene, but with infinitely better graphics and playability. If anything, I would say that the level design is a little formulaic and once you learn to prioritise the enemies, the game becomes really easy, as does the upgrade path. Its possible to get every upgrade by replaying the easier levels. All in all this is excellent and I enjoyed fragging puny earthlings in their feeble attempts to stop me.
Future upgrades? Background emplacements to destroy, missions instead of achievements and maybe expand the idea into a proper wargame
Its a fun game and its pretty good. The only problem is that I lost interest quite quickly. As soon as you start getting waves, its impossible not to be hit and lose shields too quickly. Although this is a challenge, its not satisfying enough to make me want to play on. Cute tho, and it has an original style. Its definitely well developed and passes some time, but the balance between economy and action seems to be a bit one sided.
It did occur to me that If I am an evil genius with unlimited finances at my disposal, why do I have to wait to make money? Also, why not just buy the contractors and solve the problem in one easy step!!! :D
Ok that was pedantic of me.
OK, I give up. This game is more luck than judgement. Shame cos I think its a good example of the Risk type of game, but the AI difficulty is stupidly high and the game is unplayable unless you get lucky.
Great game with a good balence between progression and difficulty, although its easy to exploit the game and hide around a corner then let the creatures find you and stab them with the Bayonet.
I would love to see a follow up that builds on this foundation with perhaps more emphasis on customization and character development as well as more involved missions/a well written campaign story. All in all, Good work!
Fun and good looking but ultimately annoying and limited in scope. Based mainly on luck therefore no skill required. a bit pointless, like fruit machines and justin beiber
I enjoy this game even though its far more frustrating than some other TD games, but today I find my save file has gone and all my achievements and upgrades are gone! Apparently im not alone in this judging by the comments above. Developers... what happened? I notice it doesnt log into AG anymore.
I enjoyed that, nice, dark and gritty. Surprised about the ending tho, which I suppose is a good thing since I was disappointed at the way your journey ends. Anyway, im having the slowdown issue as well. I'm using win7 and Firefox 9.0.1 - Extreme slow down of the mouse cursor, especially in the club when Nosferatu walks past to the left. Thanks for the experience!
OK, for 72 hours, its clever and shows up many other flash games, but the level design is terrible. Its either ridiculously hard or far too easy, and If I were to come back and play this again, Id want more of a sustained challenge. Dont get me wrong, its good, but needs more to make me want to play it again
Brilliant... Just brilliant, and competitive enough to come back to again and again. Unlike something like Kingdom rush that has stringent strategy based formulas to each level, this game allows you to micromanage towers to your hearts content without sacrificing effectiveness for the sake of progression. I finally managed to get 15 Brilliants.. at level 36! Now I have no real achievements to carry on with, which is sad as this game should have more to do! Developers... take note!
