I started playing this 2 days ago and I am still playing it. This is the sign of a game that simply rules. The combination of exploration and resource management appeals to me, and the fact that you can travel from location to location expanding your ability and therefore the quality of the items you can find is exactly the sort of progressive gameplay that 99% of games miss. This is a game of quality over quantity, and well worth several hours of play for the rewards it garners.
...Oh and the Farscape references were not lost on me either!
Not that keen on this as the difficulty is set a bit too high to make it interesting, although just replaying a level over and over again can earn you enough money to buy the best weapons and upgrades early. its a bit unresponsive as well. Not a bad game by any stretch of the imagination, but I have no desire to replay it now
Very cool game! good control system, responsive, eerie sounds, progressively hard level design without being impossible, and quite an original take on the bouncy bullet type games. it could do with some better graphics, even though it currently has that retro appeal.
There seems to be a bug that you cant select the warband once you have deployed them because they are inside the castle and cannot seem to move around the world map. shame, because graphically it looks good, although the pay to play thing is getting old. now
Its ok. it hasnt got the superlative level design of the full product, but I didnt expect it to. Its actually quite a programming feat, and I for one am more than happy that the developer went to the bother of showing whats possible for free!
Nice idea taking elements of a shooting game that is actually quite challenging and has longivity, and also with an award/badge system that makes sense. Graphically its fantastic and the varied reload system and little details like the slo mo target replay add some levels of satisfaction to this. Not sure how long term it will appeal at the moment, but my first impressions are very high! great!
Its good, but short. The upgrades are essential to progress. without them, you will get destroyed! Not sure I like it when the zombies spawn under my feet.
I like it, but its incredibly short. Graphics are excellent, if a little basic. the moody music sets the tone well, and the puzzles were good without being impossibly hard to solve. its just a shame that there isnt enough substance to this to make me want to play it again
