Here's my advice:
Its too easy. People don't like winning as much if there's no chance of losing, making bullets hurt more (but making them easier to dodge to keep it balanced) and applying a maximum health limit would make it easier to die, then if you made a continue system where very little (or nothing) was lost upon death, the player could have the thrill of finally beating a hard part, without having the feeling of spending 30 minutes getting upgrades just to lose them all, it's a win win.
TL;DR: Make it harder with a continue system and you'll have a great game.
Yes, the game starts at 32, maybe you start in a valley or something? :P
@Jondalar, yeah, I was lucky with the music, it took me ages to find... now it's stuck in my head from listening to it while testing.
@adasdad lol, after I started developing it someone mentioned the little big planet level to me, it's a great game, I'm surprised I haven't seen any other clones of bomb survival.
@MrLazyEyes: It's always nice to be compared to one of my favourite games :P I looked into changing the difficulty, making the bombs fell slower made them look wierd, like they weren't on planet earth (now that I say it that way, that would have been a cool idea), and makign the wheel faster would have made physics bugs.
There's nothing I can do about the scores, it's a kongregate problem, if you take a screenshot and sent it to kongregate they might be able to help you, I don't know. Has anyone else noticed this?
It's a fun little game, but the major issue I see is that it's hard to tell that it's getting harder, maybe if the bubbles spread themselves out more? Then we could see how manyt here actually are.
Great game, but it' a bit confusing at first, especially findind the portal, thats where I got stuck. Maybe somehow prevent teh player from moving out of a certain area until after the turorial?
@mr fluffums this is my 6th game. I know the graphics aren't great, and the game is simple, and it's short, but a lot of people liked it. So I don't see the problem with uploading stuff like this. It's been favourited 4 times, not by me. I'd say that's fairly good for 3 hours of work.
