I notice nobody wants to rate this game on what it IS, only on how cool it COULD be if it had more depth. Long story short, the lack of depth and dynamic gameplay and ability to view ranges HURT the games score, not make it a perfect 5/5, sorry. Simple logic.
Aside from all the characters using what seems to be a random selection of abilities from a pool, that the cooldown meter is shared amongst your attacks rendering some attacks useless, the repetitive levels, the lack of any dynamic gameplay, the creature unlocks that have no attacks, the random spawning that makes it so you have to play a dungeon over and over to get that one character, and the fact that none of my badges registered, good idea for a game. But so far that's all I see here: a rough idea. Work on it a little more, turn this game into the gem it deserves to be!
Plenty of bugs, definitely needs a tuneup too. Not sure what swfstats is but loading it at the end of the game froze the applet during talent point distribution. Also found a bug that causes the difficulty screen to become non-responsive, forcing you to restart. Also, after these happened, I could not find my save game to continue playing. I don't feel like starting over again, but I'll check back to see if you guys update, because I was a big fan of the original. 3/5 until later so I can get my 1 point for rating haha
Awesome game, 5/5 for sure. So far Berzerk is pwning! But you guys couldn't allow weapon switching during the game? I want to try out all the guns I bought without having to find out the gun I chose wasn't strong enough/fun enough to use for the level I chose! Quite tedious.
Yea um my game froze in the middle of a game after using the chat box. And you couldn't pay me enough to wait around for 5 multiplayer wins. I'm out of this one. Peace.
Sorry but I'm done. I find annoying thing after annoying thing, and I can't bear to play this anymore. I'm not even sticking around for the ten minutes it'd take to get 10 achievements and get a badge, which is UNHEARD of for me. I hate you so much.
