There's a bug with statistics- it starts on the bestiary window when I enter. I have to click the bestiary button THEN the statistics button to get to statistics.
one question about the chance upgrades- do they automatically ignore anything that's already maxed out or do they try to purchase those upgrades regardless?
The research speeds at higher levels are way too much. Damage XLVI with a 4.9X speed bonus is still around a full day to research, and buying speed increases are too resource-heavy at those higher levels to waste limited resources on when they offer so little of an increase. I also feel there needs to be a way to exchange other resources for gems, because even with the 2 bonuses maxed earning them is slow and certain expenses such as factory rewards get very costly, over 4600 for the 4th upgrade which means I either scrape up to save them for that or waste them on research speed that barely helps. That button to watch a video for 25 gems doesn't work, nothing happens when I click it.
The current/maximum upgrade count is nice to have for the upgrades that max out. It should be added to the workshop as well though, not just the main round.
Coming back to this, one major flaw seems to be that the jump button doesn't really stand out as serving a purpose. There is little indication of the red planet or a way to get there unless you check achievements or update notes and unless you hover over the button to see what it requires, there's no sign the button does anything, because it doesn't do anything for much of the game.
Buying a new piece of equipment should give you something stronger than what you have, rather than something weaker that requires 30 minutes of grinding just to get up to the same level as what you have. Like every other upgrade game does.
This game when running eats up much of both of my CPU cores and it's just some basic 2D graphics. I have more complex 3D games that do not eat up that much CPU. The coding for this game needs a major overhaul, it should use up half that power at most.
Would someone explain tool upgrading to me? It's not just making a new tool is it? I can't find any option to actually enhance an existing tool, only to make new ones out of better materials or to buy better tools, which isn't really upgrading.
There does need to be a basic guide for this game telling how to do certain things. Stuff like water in winter, upgrading tools, building barns, it's not explained. I've had to dig through comments for most of it, and I still have no idea how to upgrade tools.
