Game does a great job at tutorializing the kill-on-return mechanic in level 10, it naturally forces you to recall your axe to kill 2 bats. You could argue that it's not great as without knowing the mechanic beforehand you can't figure it out, but what's a good puzzle game without some playing around with it to figure things out?
Game completed in 51 minutes....51 minutes for a BOTD. Sure, it's a okay-good game but an hour for one BOTD? What happened, kong? Starting to seem like kong is just self destructing before flash goes out of style
A note for the scout only strat though, you may have to send a big unit or a swarm of effective small units at times just as sometimes the enemy will actually cover every lane
ez way to cheese most levels:only play scouts in lanes the enemy isn't occupying and level only speed
Stupidest working strat I'm aware of, but is more fun than spears only....
I'd like to point out that transphobic is generally accepted as being a word, though this game kinda is justified in not considering it as it was made in 2012, when calling someone gay was still an insult. Odd to see how much has changed in 8 years.
Fun game but one thing to note─having a random mix of precise jumps and very lax jumps(level 16 is a good example, namely the jump from the floating island to the ledge as compared to the rest) can be very off-putting. Great game regardless
Not an easy badge, not a good game. The scoring system is simply bad:if you want players to play in a certain way make the game reward it, don't just put a number to raise for when they play in a way that isn't optimal
I don't understand how everyone is complaining about lag? I got to wave 36(just messing around, could've completed it a lot earlier) and only had a few 2 second spikes of lag starting ~22-24 waves in.
*playing thief on stage 2*
*full clears each level, enemies and loot*
*doesn't get a single dagger*
*DOESN'T GET A SINGLE DAGGER*
*uses all items save for the Chakram and a Sampling vial to survive*
Xiatol:*laughs at puny 1d2 weapon*
*loses Chakram after it bounces off Xia into lava pits, resort to melee*
*is down to 2 hp, Xia ~4/7th*
*murdered by fire*
Devs should know punishing mechanics, like the tired feature, which attempt to make the player play the 'right' way, like swapping around characters, just suck for everyone involved.
