Really cute game, and the option to silence it before the game started is worth three stars on its own. Even better, the game is intelligent enough to swap the color of the bubble once you eliminate one from the board. Awesome!
Really neat game, but you don't have to remind me that it's available in the Google Play store every couple of levels. It gets rather irritating and pulls me out of the game.
It's bloody impossible to get the timing down for this game, so the best I've gotten so far is three lifts. Please, make the first few a bit easier or have some sort of visual indicator of when i need to click, aside from my arms falling off.
(and now the rest...)
Traps also become obsolete as soon as the Trimps start breeding. Is there an intention to have them for something else?
I would love more stuff to use my Science on. Right now, I have so much, it's not funny.
I'm looking forward to whatever story you add, because there could be a lot done with the fact that these trimps are dying forus in droves, fighting things that they've presumably been living with before we came along. Is there going to be a rebellion? Is there some sort of terrifying baddy waiting for us in one of these dungeons? There's a lot you could do and I would love to see it.
I'm looking forward to what you come out with in future updates. I'll certainly be keeping tabs on this.
First of all, really great game! There's a lot of concepts that stand out, like having the Trimps do all of the hard work and focusing on upgrading maximum storage in addition to production. Having side maps for when the main world gets too tough is a really great way to keeping going without beating your head on the same monster.
A few suggestions: definitely need a faster way to break maps and store fragments for later rather than using them right away. Also marking which ones have upgrades to find would be super useful. I hate getting into a 70+ tile dungeon with nothing at the end and having to sit through the whole thing. It's also rather annoying have dungeons from level 10 still hanging around at level 25-27.
There really need to be a food dump or whatever, because I earn way more food than I'll ever use. The most I can do for it right now is to raise my cap.
(continued...)
I do love the basics of this game. The best feature is that the upgrade boxes show a progress bar as you approach enough money to purchase them. That's something I haven't seen in other idle games. Maybe, for your next game, you keep that as a feature and work towards developing some sort of story that will keep people occupied. As a test of concepts, this is really well put together.
How does this game even work? Can you sell things in the shop? What is the point of collecting materials? The only thing you have going for you is we're not mining poop right off.
I'm sure it's been commented earlier, but the conquer section is impossible to do. For one, when you enter the Universe Overview and try to compare your stats to that of another planet, it lists all of you points as 0, meaning you have no anything. When I lose to a planet, it still marks it as conquered. If I leave the game at any point, it empties out all of my war stuff. No hangers, mother-ships, soldiers or anything else, as if I'd never bought it. Also, why let us buy the research for sections that are nonoperational? There's a lot of potential, but there is also a LOT of room for improvement.
For the space trips, unless the rewards scale, then the cost shouldn't scale. It's essentially a gamble every time, so making the cost go up just makes it less worthwhile every time.
For the love of every thing holy, please let us set up some sort of auto-crafters. I have over 4000 dirt, 3000+ wood,7000+ stone. I don't think I have enough life left in my hands to get through all that to make the higher-level villagers. You could even let us toggle how much they're making. Also, is there an advantage to buying multiples of certain villagers? Some are obviously used in crafting, but others are not so obvious. Love the game and looking forward to the next update!
yeah, i might put a cap on the number of things you can get. It will use as many auto-grinders as you can make (like miner and farmer), but it only needs/uses one carpenter. good idea.
15-20 clicks, just to get a boot. And I've got at least five of those a level? That's not really fun, just super tedious. I'd rather see those high numbers and think that it'll actually be something big. Most of the last 100 level of digging has been: *20 clicks* Blast, a boot. *15 clicks* Another boot... Seriously, when clicking on the X's is more profitable, there's a problem. And even that bit is hidden. There's no mention that you get pocket change for those. :(
I love the game, but I hate the fact that every time I die, it's a 50/50 shot that I'm still clicking madly and accidentally hit the Big Dino logo. Could you give a second long pause before the death screen officially shows up or something, because otherwise you're getting 50 frustrated clickthroughs.
I love the game! Easy upgrade system, cute graphics and fun gameplay. one thing, could you add an option to downgrade the graphics quality? My game is a bit jumpy and laggy. Thanks a bunch!
If it's regularly jumping every few seconds it might be lag due to the auto-save feature. Right click the game, go to Settings, Local Storage, and give kongregate unlimited storage space. The game's save is only a few kB but removing the size cap makes the auto-save much quicker
Decent enough for a first try. I'm assuming you had to publish it to see how it'd work on unity's servers. FYI, maybe build the concept more before worrying about testing it like this, especially with how critical the community can be. Though it's the best three buttons I've seen today.
Is it possible to freeze the pane or something for scrolling in the achievements? Whenever I try to, the whole page scrolls and very little scrolls in the game. Otherwise fine game so far. Just wish I could check out all of my achievements. :) Nice to have a concept that's a bit different.
Mhm I think you are right.
