@CommanderBubble: Yes, I've seen the disclaimer. A disclaimer does not actually seperate real life from a video game. I'm not saying the video game IS real life. I'm saying the video game really exists, in real life. That's what I'm mad about.
@fdgogzr: I'm calm... just no one to share this stupid holiday with, yet its in my face everywhere I go. What do you want me to do? Theres no where I can go not covered in valentines crap. So well, since I'm here, I might as well discuss the subject at hand, it beats playing the game.
...points for having boyfriends... is just absolutely stupid. i mean really... if i find the girl of my dreams the day before i day, i would consider my life to be awesome. 5 stars... but no, according to this philosophy, a good life is achieved by getting and dumping boyfriends left and right to achieve maximum happiness every year. this is the bane of american existance. love is not an industry. happiness does not follow production margins. nerdook, i loved you and every game you made. but now that i see how your mind works, i have no respect for you. the way you set this game up really speaks for what people consider "happiness" and "love" and quite frankly i find it disgusting. and you, continue to propogate it.
@pericles2: Well, we both have our reasons for playing video games. As for the complaining, its just this day. I really hate this day. Everywhere I go, flowers, heart balloons. I would love to buy every single one of those and give it to someone... if I had someone to give it to. So I thought maybe I can go to kongregate... play some video games, get my mind off this crap. Nope.
And actually no, I am, always have been, always will be bitter about the failure of society to operate cooperatively. Particularly the stratification caused by capitalism, and the failure of consumers to be aware of said stratification.

@destruction159: thank you. this does not fix the problem society has with media obsession and capitalist greed. this does not change the fact that i am lonely as hell, and crap like this rubs it in. ultimately, this does not make me any less depressed. but thank you.

@zandera: kongregate is owned by gamestop. a major corporation. the problem with major corporations is that because you have a rich guy up top trying to maximize his profits, and what he says goes, the company often carries out projects purely for the sake of profit. unfortunately, sometimes these projects ignore the simple question "is it actually a good idea?". a real game designer wont make a game he doesnt sincerely believe will kick azs, but when theres an executive handing you a decent size check, you make stupid games before feb 14th just because of a stupid corporate holiday. tl;dr: capitalism > actual good ideas

i like how i get rated down for being depressed. i hate this day of the year. if society didnt idolize "hot bi***es" the way it does, maybe there would be more mutual respect between the genders, and i would be comfortable in a relationship. but no, people have to be clingy, trying to own each other, i just cant do it. so fu ck it, im forever alone, but this one stupid day you as sholes need to rub it in my face. i cannot get these badges. i will die of depression if i play this game again. enjoy your 60 points stupid sheeple.
this game makes me absolutely depressed. i have social problems. i havent ever had a valentine. thank you kong/nerdook for making me want to kill myself T.T
