Ok I am playing as a juggernaut and on level 3 there is only one skill that interrupts and it takes longer to cast the enemy's healing potion... you can't win except by chance. And even if you did you would lose that experience when you fought the next time.
I played with Ashi and it says she is supposed to be immune to interupts... but then I was hit by one. That is asinine. I will not play this game again. Who knows what other things are wrong with it.
