i've always enjoyed games like this. this one seems to be challenging enough, too, so well done. the answer is most likely staring me in the face but i am finally having to think during a game on this site. well done.
it seems to be working fine for me, but there could be some definite improvements in the style and gameplay. i like what you've already said you will be doing, but have a few suggestions of my own: maybe involve physics formulae in the actual gameplay a bit, as opposed to just in the background (this would require quite a lot of thought, not sure how you'd manage it). also, make the movement a bit more interesting (animations for walking, etc.). apart from that, you have a promising game here.
a good concept, but games like this need to be backed up by an interesting soundtrack, good graphics and a storyline. this, unfortunately, has none of those. if you decide to try again, demand something other than mindless clicking from the player (in terms of thought about how to progress) and give more in return (in terms of making it enjoyable).
I've taken your advice. Arrow Buster 4 is on its way and it's going to have a storyline, interesting soundtracks, better graphics (wouldn't consider good). So yeah I think it will be pretty good, check it out. I'll be uploading it sometime next week :)
x5594306: it's the shields that block, not the armour.
ripperdoc: one-hits by the computer are normally the result of hitting the head, which is unprotected. jumping makes it easier to get at the opponent's head and makes it harder for them to get at yours.
draupner, games on this site have the potential to earn the developers money. if you wrote a game, which someone then claimed as their own and won $1500 dollars for, would you care? yes. yes you would. developers should get the recognition and the money, and the people who steal games shouldn't.
the games not great, and you seriously need to change the music and james bond logo. first, you're not allowed to use them, and second, they have no bearing on the game whatsoever.
who spends their first day reviewing new games? not anyone i know. the controls are horrible, and the game drags on for far too long. black backgrounds and looking for black tokens definitely don't go together well on soem levels. similarly, the tactics which i've been forced to use (out of necessity in order to play the game) are nothing like what a real tank would do. there are big problems with the walls, too. and since when could bullets not pass water?
music, upgrades and someone to race against would help (eg. 'ghost' car from previous races). the controls are very good, and this would easily be a 5/5 with a few extra details. 3/5 for now.
