Bah. Would've given it a 3/5, but I went back to the menu to check the keys after getting my combination element, and couldn't get back to my game. No save = fail. 1/5
Biggest problem here is that there's no time to build turrets. When the menus are up, you can't build, and when the waves are going, you don't have any time to act. If there was a proper build phase, it'd be much better.
Easy is easy once you get to max upgrades; still having lots of trouble with the harder levels. Obvious sequel hook is obvious; but I'd be very glad to see a sequel. It'd be nice if you could repair some of those random damaged ship systems, instead of just tacking on more turrets & fighter bays. Maybe have multiple types of fighters, too (faster interceptors, heavier bombers).
Great game; wish the AI on the repair drones was a little better, though... lost all my turrets fighting that weird snake-type capital ship and couldn't continue; all my drones kept sitting on my main ship healing me even though I had like 80% HP the whole time and all my turrets were getting smashed.
A little annoying with the updates, how the addon maxes out early and says maxed, but everything else goes the full way and still shows a price as if you could buy more...
Bah, really dislike the 'degrading towers' concept. Tie that into the sub-par gameplay, and I'm rather less then impressed. There is a right way to do TD. This is not it.
Nice improvements. As a recommendation, I'd suggest automatic fire for the lasers, and mouseclick for the rockets... there's no reason why you'd want to not shoot lasers, anyways; so using the mouse for rockets simplifies things.
Fish isn't wise; this does surpass the shootorials by a lot, there's more then enough of those basic games already. Still pretty clunky, though; could use some polish.
Pretty good. Upgrade costs need tweaking, especially towards the higher ends; as is, it's usually better to spam towers then it is to upgrade, and that's not right...
