Good idea, whiffed execution. Boss fights are not difficult but have imprecise movement and glitchy animations, and having the same calm music as the exploration really kills any sense of thrill. Also, there's not even any actual ending. That said, there are some good ideas present and definitely room for improvement.
Fun setup, good humor, rather exceedingly easy. Please increase the challenge for chapter two - and perhaps add more options for character development?
Yeah, biggest problem other than lack of auto-fire is MUSIC COMES BACK when you toggle it off. Make sure it's consistent from screen to screen, and toggles all the music off.
Virtually complete control of the disease on Day 30, only to have the game drag on for 50 more turns. Random infections like that suck, and stop this game from being fun. Timed victory should be shorter.
Inability to control your squadmates often ruins the game. I can't tell you how many times I try to get them to stop healing me after I get retrograded and they won't. Don't even get me started on their uselessness during boss fights...
Why would you want an unlockable weapon that sucks harder than your main? B/c that's what the flamethrower does. Stupid design moves cripple what's otherwise decent about this generic shooter. 3/5
I dislike games where some of the upgrades are completely unnecessary and merely exist to trick you into wasting money. Both turrets and snipers are utterly useless. Game is basically a click-and-drag fest.
The game looks simple at first, but its campaign is actually really well balanced, especially once later cards are introduced and stats begin to change with higher levels. Well done.
