Guess the stalkers modified something at some point. I'll take a look, though really the prohibition is for your own good. Not really sure how you expect to do much with negative Clout.
No, you can go negative once if you play an ability that costs Clout. You can't play it again while in the negatives, though. This is so you don't spend all your Clout buying an ability and then end up unable to play it.
You're not really supposed to know what bills do. It was intentional that you'd just have to make educated guesses about the outcome of bills as a real Congressperson would do. You're all a bit spoiled with the player-run wiki having 5+ years of player-deduced mechanics and stats. In the early days, nobody knew jack shit, and that was how I liked it. It was really pretty hilarious to watch. For me. Since I was the only one who knew what things did. I was inspired by UO, which had totally opaque mechanics in the olden days. It made the game a lot more interesting since you didn't worry about numbers and such as much as doing things. Though there was also a site called uo.stratics where people would figure stuff out and post it over time, which I thought was neat, too.
Uhh after using the speed boost ability the game became super buggy. The robots after that level still had super speed, animations flashed or were out of sync, very messy.
Thank you guys for the bugs indications. If you really want to help please use the bug report forms. It is literally impossible for a 2 person team to test every browser, operating system, flash version with the game. We will address the speed bug as soon as possible.
Could you maybe make a "instant finish upgrade" button on the upgrade menu? Where it just charges the cost of the building upgrade and amount one booster would use to finish it instantly? Having to do the process multiple times until you get the max build thing is tiring. Or some hot key to apply/buy a booster.
Hurts to say, but it seems like players demand more and more so they can get DirectMax faster and faster, and I don't want the player to get all the DMxes in 1 minute and get the DirectMax achievement worth 1.8k AP in a few clicks. When DMx got introduced (before the release of the game) it took over an hour to get the DMx of a single type of building. Now you can get it in like 3-5 minutes if you have the resources with the help of the upgrade to max button, so let's say around half an hour to get the achievement.
Don't know if this is a bug or not but the overclock bonus counts during construction and if you zoom forward it still appears to count. So for a pretty small fee you can get the resources that would normally take days.
