Lol, played once, got to 200,000 points and said "man this game is way too freaking hard! a medium badge for 500,000 points? Not worth it." (reads comments) "wait... you can upgrade stuff?" next game: just shy of 15 million points, lol. Remember kids, always read the instructions first.
Even considering how recently it was added to this site I'm surprised this game doesn't have more plays or a higher rating. Always been one of my favorites since it came out on AdultSwim.com.
Wow this is a rare find. A puzzle game that's enjoyable, not particularly frustrating but difficult enough to be mentally stimulating. On top of that, there's interesting and well composed, original music. I normally don't like puzzle games and give up on them after the first few levels but I saw this one to the end. I wish there were more than five stars...
Here's a good word if you don't tend to hang onto too many of the rarer letters: philander(er). It's been my trustiest word so far. I use it or a variation every time I see a p and an h. Philanthropist is even better but harder to type in a pinch.
Is there no way to cancel or undo an action? It's turn based... so why not? I can't tell you how many times I've accidentally moved a soldier next to an enemy just to have him stare at it instead of also attacking. Frustrating.
Lol I died at the exact moment I destroyed the last piece of the heart. The game itself counted this as a win, but the achievement did not. Thank god it saves at the beginning of each level...
I think the badges should have been centered more around fun stuff than simply dodging spikes. Like "Do the splits for a combined total of 5 seconds in one run" or a badge called "Quadruple Amputee" which should be pretty self explanatory. Maybe an easy badge that only requires you to smack your head into the ground a total of 25 times called Head Banger.
Gotta say, on the whole I'm pretty disappointed with this one. I love this series but ever since it peaked with the third one, it's been going downhill since. I think my biggest complaint is how zoomed in the view is. It seems like a small thing but when you can't see a huge battle field it just makes it less... epic. Overall, 4/5 but by the standards the rest of this series set, 3/5.
Yea, pretty much as long as you get super lucky on day one, like over $40, and get a parachute on day two and avoid the platforms while collecting coins (unless you have extra chutes) then you'll win in four days.
Oi, sorry to flood the comments but this one's important. In the secret item shop if you buy an item then pick up your old item so you can compare your old stats with your new stats... you have to *re-buy* the item you already bought. Just wasted 128 coins before the level 10 boss because of that... oh well.
Ohhh, never mind, instead of casting the full version of your spell it now casts one little, weak version of it. *Shrug* every little bit helps I guess.
Does Proc no longer work? I thought maybe instead of automatically casting it for you it made your next cast free but... it seems to still cost energy so no?
ONLY problem is it's way too easy. I don't know about most other people but beating the final boss five times in a row without ever going below three lives gets pretty boring. Maybe if the boss dropped you a life and that's it, you have to not get hit again until the next time you beat him if you want more, lol. Anyway, otherwise the first play through gets a 5/5 from me.
