I like it, and it shows a lot of promise. Most of the flaws I've noticed from my, let's just say half hour of playtime, seem to be mostly oversights. The UI is a bit rough, LOTS of clicking that could be cut down on with some hotkeys. And a few menus should be a bit more... fluent. A buy all option for units would cut down on my turn time a lot, since I have to replenish every battle or two.
So right off the bat, the boxes on the main screen are... difficult to read. I have exceptionally bad vision, so that's not too damning. But making the contrast better (basically make the boxes background darker) would be nice for me.
I'll endure for now and try to rate the game itself, but that's my initial observation.
Now that I've settled on a screen size, I can make things bigger. Higher contrast while retaining consistency with the theme might take some more thinking. Are the other screens working for you? At some point, I'm going to have multiple UIs so that, when you zoom, you'll get something bigger and higher contrast. That will happen when I'm targeting phones.
So this reminds me a lot of Swarm Simulator, a game I did enjoy. Hopefully it shakes things up a bit more, time will tell.
Also, seems a bit early for a feature, or is that just me?
Fun little puzzler. From a design standpoint, I didn't like how many puzzles were about getting power OFF of the bulb, because of the reverse switches right before them. Kinda a personal thing though.
All in all, it's not a bad game, but it needs more content. Would like to see more levels, and especially would like more mechanics/tiles to be added.
Excellent game at its core, but it needs some improvements and fleshing out. I saw in your dev notes you plan to make base expansion a thing, that's good. I'd also recommend some AI improvments for the different classes, mainly my clerics running up and punching skeletons in the face and getting killed. Have them stick by warriors, instead of initiating fights themselves.
Still, solid groundwork and fun enough already, would just like to see more.
I think a return to New York area could be fun. Come back to where you started off as basically a street gang, as... whatever it is you are by the time you finish Antarctica. I think you're a military state by then.
I actually remember playing this... wow it's been a long time. When it was new on FaceBook.. Damn things have changed. I have no idea why I'm playing this, guess it's one of the better time wasters, to be fair. And I can't help but enjoy it more when I see the devs in these comments. It's kind of amazing actually, they get so much shit for no real reason.
Also I'll leave this here. Just because: F41382
Mob Wars: LCN recently had its five year anniversary, so we've been around for a while! A lot can happen in five years, as I see you've noticed. Thanks for checking us out again here on Kong! :)
So can we speed up the starting speed of holding down to buy en masse? It's just not really worth doing, when I can just click.
Don't get me wrong; I love the "rev up" it does, keep that. Just start us off a bit faster please.
Yeah, this is an interesting and amusing idler. Many props to the developer on this one. Hard to keep me interested in these, since most are so simple (and I already played Necromancer, so it's not like I didn't do simple once), but this one is strangely enthralling. Partially the "idle cap", which keeps it from snowballing overnight like many games like this do, partially the interesting theme/context, and partially just well done mechanics. Getting a new extractor is satisfying (though I'm personally pained at how many elements must remain empty), and the upgrades are clear and simple, but never without benefit.
All in all, solid idle game. Nothing to complain about, really. It'll get same-y after a while, but that's unavoidable. Even Tangerine Tycoon got old.
It's alright, as far as idlers go. Neat ideas, but it's super basic in my opinion. Plenty of more complex/in depth games out there for those interested in them.
So, one thing I'd really like is a "buy all" button in the passive upgrades screen. Because it gets pretty tedious to click through the list for a few levels of each thing. A "buy max" would be pretty nice too, but I, at least at the moment, like to evenly buy upgrades, going down the list one tier at a time. Would be nice to have a button just level everything up once.
Thank you! We'll consider all of your ideas for the next release... thank you for helping us improving! :)
