Unlike most of the posts here, I'm not a huge fan of most of your games (they're okay, and some are fun, but a little simplistic IMHO). This one, however, is awesome. I love it!
I gotta say - the controls are clunky, the graphics suck, it's way too short, and the difficulty curve is extremely steep (some levels are really, really hard until you know what you're doing, and when you do know what you're doing, the whole game is super easy). But still 5/5. There's something awesome about this game. =)
If you think level 10 is hard, go back and re-read the hint it gives you at the start of the level. It's practically impossible to beat lvl 10 the first time you play it, but it should be super easy the second time you try it.
Definitely the best TD I've played. The only problem was that it was a little short. Probably because the author actually spent time to make each level a slightly different challenge rather than making the game a huge long grind. I'm disappointed this is not the top game for October, and I desperately await a sequel.
This game has such a steep XP curve... gaining enough XP to buy anything worthwhile seems to take forever for the first few levels, then suddenly you get a weapon that does 6 or more damage, overkill, and eventually bloodlust - and then the game becomes trivial by about the beginning of the second day. FN Scar is the best weapon, although Desert Eagle is the best for farming XP with Overkill for that brief ~3 level window where it makes a difference.
Bubbles shouldn't be minimizable, and each type of bubble (small, medium, large, etc.) should have a certain number of hitpoints where if takes more damage than that it pops but is repaired by eating the blue bubbles (similar to previous BT game). There should really be *some* point to putting non-gun bubbles on your tank.
better than the other adult swim games, but that's not saying much...
I can't believe people are saying the combo breaker badge is harder than high roller. High roller wouldn't be so bad if they didn't block and counter attack *everything* including hyper combos.
On hyper-defense mode, it sucks that if you knock down the enemy, the game ends and your score is low. Considering you can't attack, it should be a good thing when you knock him down.
Very nice puzzle game. The hard badge should require at least like 20 or 30 gold medals (there are 72 medals available) to be a challenge.
I wish it were easier to replay a level to medal after muddling through the first time - but since there's no badge for medals (other than 20 bronzes, which should be easy, not medium), I guess I won't be going back through to try to get gold on all of 'em unless I'm really bored.
Though if you're going for golds, I find it's best to think through very carefully and complete the first time for fewest moves, then redo and try to speed through for best time.
I like this game - it's fun. But it definitely has some flaws. I look forward to a new version or a sequel. Among other things - sending army is buggy and I don't like the mechanic for it... should be able to send any units that are home anytime (with maybe a timer for stuff like tank). Also, the angel thing shouldn't be sent from the unit screen, just a button on main interface when it's charged and have it cast like a spell. Why do archers only fire right in front of the tower? Needs unit upgrades and more building upgrades. Lag is a killer, and turning graphics down doesn't help. Other than that, though, I like it.
Could be better - the story in story mode doesn't give you any clues or anything, and it doesn't matter what order you do the different levels. Also, not all that challenging, but still, really cool, and I gave it a 5/5 because it's probably my second favorite puzzle game on here after Time Bot.
okay, I'm wrong, it's just that the invincible time is insanely short, even fully-buffed - only seems to last about as long as it takes to double-click. was running into enemies just as it wore off.
Love the control scheme. Very interesting game... One thing - when you double-click, aren't you supposed to be invincible? Because I send out the stars like expected, but if I ram into a bunch of enemies while the stars are coming out, I still die... wtf?
I want to hate this game, especially because at the beginning you have to click like crazy and get carpal tunnel (just let us hold down the button for autofire even with pistols!). But I just love slaughtering bunnies too much. Very addictive, got all the badges - now give us a survival mode, please!
