I'm not sure why, but I lost my ranged character's weapons, including my (awesome) Hunting Rifle. It started when I tried to swap two weapons in my reserves (to put them in order, to keep better track). When they swapped, they produced NaN as their AP costs and two blank slots. Then, I tried to see if I could swap out the NaNs for weapons in my middle (ranged) character. After that, what happens is that when I select on another character, then the middle character, it adopts that previous character's weapons.
Oh, I did forget to mention that clicking on the Scorching Desert location will actually give it its correct color, but if you cancel, it's back to the same old issue.
I've found a small error on the map. After clicking on Adventure, the text for the Scorching Desert location defaults to white if you don't mouse over anywhere else (which is itself an issue, with the whole green/red scale), but if you mouse over another location and then back to Scorching Desert, it'll adopt that location's text's color.
I'm sure this has been mentioned before, but I can't be arsed to check; shouldn't the text for the "Dead on Time" badge read "Reach a distance of 10,000 m. in 'Dead on Time'"?
I really like this game. Of course it's a fetch quest, but it's a fun fetch quest. I'm not going to complain about the jumps; I've played much worse than this, and because it's so pixelated, it's pretty easy to inch out to the edge of platforms. One minor quibble, though: there are several incomplete surfaces from where you can't walk past; they look like gray lines on top of platforms. If you'd like, I can hunt around for a few of these and take screencaps.
Yay for Medium badge (at 5417, I believe). A few tips that I've found: 1) Make a separate path for each opening. Ideally, keep their lengths the same. DO NOT put them together until as late as possible. 2) Use only Normal Towers. 3) Once you've got your paths, start building Sniper Towers in the middle. Don't spread the wealth too thin, just upgrade one at a time. 4) After you've got the middle covered, start building Sniper Towers to the right and down. 5) Don't rush unless you absolutely believe you can whip up on the next wave. Hope these work for you!
Just tried it for the first time. Died on Level 7 because i missed 8 extra lives (6 from the Level 6 UFO and two from Level 7 itself). Still a great game, and I will definitely be taking another shot at this.
Just something I've noticed, though I'm not far in at all (I've only finished up to Level 11 so far, but I have all Perfects): clicking "Retry" and not having it reset only seems inconvenient until it becomes invaluable for trying to get perfects.
I love the challenge and its results, but I LOL'd at what just happened to me. Me: "I'll sink all my points into Defense, select Attack every time (to further minimize the damage I'd take) and grind through." Me: "I'm on Level 8, and here's an Ogre. Let me take one chance and try a Charge, just for fun." "You have been slain." Me: "FFFFFFFFFFFFFF"
Through a lot of careful placement (and a few where I just found my own, faster solution), I finally broke 9700. I now have 9704, and here's the link to my stage select screen: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v691/split_definitive/WakeUpTheBox.jpg I'm pretty satisfied with just about all of these, except 19. I have a feeling that there's a single place on that darn block that'll work better in terms of getting the bottom turners to grip the wood wheels better. Anyone have any ideas? I'm willing to share a secret or two in return. Thank you!
1) To get a Sneaky Start, press Up after "Get Set" disappears. 2) Farty Pants is the TRUTH. He's fantastic for stacking up boost, which makes him the best for the boost challenges and getting 1st on the Moon. 3) To get the 10-second wheelie challenge, when you start the race, move backwards to the wall first, then move really slowly and wheelie. It WILL take a few tries.
Sorry for the triple post, but... "Congratulations! You just won the Necronomiconquerer Badge and 60 points!" Megalomania + 6 or 7 Arcane even before Megalomania + Dark Ritual + From Beyond = Challenge 21 defeated = HAPPY ME. :D
