LOL AI. While playing Challenge 17 (+3 Taint after every turn), I had 16/2/2. THE COMPUTER USED DOPPLEGANGER. He inherited my Taint, never got rid of it, and I eventually got him on an invulnerability soak/Shuggoth counter. Now, just Challenges 20 and 21 to go for my first Impossible badge. :D
The Corruptor, if you know what to do, can be taken down in one round fairly easily. Cripple + Anoint + Overwhelm = cash money. I even had Leadership ready to go, just in case. :D
Not to crow about it, but I'm pretty psyched about this. I was playing against Experienced, had three Curses dropped on me (I double-sized my deck in the proper proportions) in about 10-15 turns, and I still won. :D
@whoreton: to get the Desert Eagle skill challenge, you've gotta shoot the top right box twice. It may take a few tries, but the green box should move just enough to slide between the first and second columns of boxes to hit the platform. Good luck.
Great game (though a bit easy). One suggestion: reset the number of kills when you continue. I got 1330-something for getting up to the last level (and getting run over by a Rollie), but after I continued from Tier 18, I finished the game and got 2440-something.
Takes a little while to get the mechanism down, especially since people are so used to clicking the highest point to get the furthest distance; I got 0 on my first try. You should at least let people know that they have to click at the middle of the meter to get some lateral movement. Two (legit) tries later, 11,848 was my best.
After having finished this game, here are my comments: 1) There is way too much emphasis on speed. I think that while the scoring should be based on speed as well as length of path, the two should be mutually exclusive. 2) It doesn't save your score when you click Menu, and that seems like something that could and should be easily remedied. 3) There's no reward for getting all gold medals, and hence, no motivation to keep playing. 4) "Last Nexus but not last record" is unnecessarily vague and seemingly irrelevant. Overall, it kills time, but it's not a very good game. I give it a 2/5, and better luck next time.
Once you've figured out how to best exploit the radar/fuel sucker/rocket combination, this gets pretty simple; I finished in two days! A one-day run is not appealing to me, however, and how much luck would THAT take?! Still, 5/5 for the good times.
Good news: I finally got 4182/4182; I had chased the last three points for at least an hour. Bad news: you don't get anything for a perfect score; the last bonus you get is the Reaction Chamber for all Gold. Still, 5/5, easily.
@s0laris: "funny... why do i fail at 100%?..."
They round up the percentages. I just failed Level 7 because I had $388,210 (99.56% or so of the goal, which was $390,000), but it said 100% on the status bar.
