Lame, sleeping doesn't obey the time multiplier, ie sleeping regens stamina at the same rate whether the time is normal or fast forward. And the creatures don't attack the shelter, which means the repair kits are pointless. Also there's the hover bug. Half-finished = half-stars
I loved the "alternate" endings, that is inventive. And the scenes where the pictures are on top and bottom defeat the cross-eyed trick, kudos. =) (yes, yes, I know that's cheating, still fun though, and it makes a pointless skill practical. ;) )
Another "achievement" filled shooter that is slightly buggy, and looks like other games (namely amorphous). Oh and for all the mute fanatics out there, its not advertised but M mutes.
Great game, but a bit slow, especially when you have to wait for your mana to charge so you can buy all your upgrades again. I would suggest increasing the mana accumulation, either across the board or as a percentage of your max mana, so the more mana you have the faster you gain more.
And the rotating of the turret is a bit fast, which makes it hard to aim. Slow it down a bit so that one increment means it moves down enough to hit the next space a guy is walking into.
Very nice game, lots and lots of fun. But only 4/5 for some resetting bugs. I.e when moving to the next level or at the end of the game the sound kept going. I loved the exponential upgrade cost/income makes it feel more powerful when its 50 times more expensive, even when you get 50 times as much gold each level.
@ bobnine yes textures would be nice, something to help you judge where you are in the air.
Also get the stupid traffic light out of my face so I can see where the heck I'm going at the start.
You should either get money from killing cop cars or you should lose money, now you lose money when you ram them and then you get money when they die. Just make it one or the other. And if the police crash into someone that's their own fault, and they should pay for it, why am I charged when the police hit someone on their own? Annoying, trying to kill cops ends up costing you more money because they inevitably hit 5 other cars, costing you more than you get.
I like the idea of combining the numbers with zuma, although the colors were messing with my head, good idea for the star though, make each pair of numbers the same color.
ok, I can see the "getting to the action" concept. That does make sense. And the new randomness of the list actually helps me because it takes away the distraction of remembering the order. Oh and thanks for the mute button, I feel that is a requirement for every flash game. =)
Oh, and I love the way the body poses at the end of each section, that's awesomely amusing. =) Side note: I've always wanted to walk into starbucks and order a "Tensor Fasciae Latae" =P
I really enjoyed this game and I wish I had this last semester when my A & P class was studying muscles. Couple of comments though. In the "learning" scan stages, there shouldn't be a time limit and it shouldn't be added into the total. Those are for learning where things are so they shouldn't be tested at the same time. I actually did better on the poke sections because I could see all the muscles at the same time instead of only in the circle. And while having the static list instead of random list assists memorization, it only helps memorize the list, but doesn't encourage association of the list with the muscles themselves. I think a random list would be better.
I like the idea of using the mouse, but it makes it a bit boring, make it faster, to keep it on par with the faster control method (keyboard -> mouse) and add more shooty enemies, for starters. If you feel really ambitious, add powerups to do interesting things. =)
Game gets a bit repetitive. And making the difficulty ramp consist of longer and longer mazes is really annoying. Good graphics, decent controls though.
needs a restart button at the end, not just a timeout, and either those are big birds or you have a paper airplane. =P
But very nice for a first-game. =)
