Cool animation, cool atmosphere, cool music, a wonderful homage to all RPG's out there. Also, boobs. 4/5. What it lacks to be perfect : a more merciful save feature (still better than the first one, where it didn't exist at all), at least on the lower difficulties, and deeper game mechanics - again, nevertheless better than the first one thanks to the upgrades and the wider array of battle options. As for boobs-girl - I mean Natz, her red dress manages to make her even hotter than in the first game. I didn't want to sound like a nolife, but I mean DAMN LOOK AT HER. I'm happy she's SD most of the time or I wouldn't be able to do anything other than staring at her... :p You tried to create a Ms. Fanservice ? You succeeded beautifully !
Fun game, not really original, but well done. However, there are a few glitches, most notably the fact that if you use a type of arrow with a high level bow, then switch to a lesser level bow which shouldn't be able to fire these arrows, you nevertheless keep firing the high level arrows. I doubt it was intentional :P
panda1873 > If you're Biological, then I don't know. :P For Psychological, use Confinement (the spell on the middle right of your ability screen) and possibly Retrograde lvl 2, but make sure your teammates won't stupidly attack him (it ?) during this time. You can also stun him to prevent him from rebuffing himself for a few turns (but with Psycho, the stun will also halve the damage Gregor receives, so be careful).
I went on Armor Games to play the game with the Hydraulic class, and I liked it. Now I want to try it with the Psychologic, and I set the difficulty on Heroic since I know the game now... and the fights are now in real time ? With no pause ? That means I'm supposed to finish some of the longer fights (i.e. the Baron) without taking my eyes away from the screen even for two seconds ? Grave mistake here. Well, I hope I'm wrong and the game does have a pause button, I'm still searching for it... :P
That being said, the game is very good, nice improvement on the previous one. I particularly like how you can change the AI during a battle, which allows you to indirectly give orders to your allies... Maybe the next step will be actually letting you control them as well... ^^
Finnishgamer, you should be careful about what you're saying, it would keep you from making a fool of yourself. The pause is on the spacebar. As for the save feature, it's true that you can't save during chapters, but they are reasonably short and you can play each of them individually (and it's not like it wasn't written down in the badge description...)
Curse you ! I wanted to work today, and now your game is going to make me waste hours... The retro feel is great as well as the graphics and sounds. Okay, it's true that the scenario is even less developed than Zelda's... :p Nevertheless, instant 5/5 and favorite !
Like many skill games, it was at first frustrating but very fun. But with the bouncy ball, it is just frustrating... I fear what it will be like with the super bouncy ball :(
Yay, Swaintastic ! Awesome game, very fun and inventive.
Jeanzi > Wait for the top-left boulder to fall into the small hole on the right, then grab a key to close it before the second boulder arrives. This will allow said boulder to hit the "pillar" on the left, thus setting in motion a mechanism which will set off the small boulder. You have to grab the second key before the top-right boulder hits the green pillar, or the small boulder will remain trapped. Once the small boulder has passed the pillar that blocked it, grab the last key to let the small boulder continue its route. Then let gravity do its job. I hope my explanations aren't too messed up :/
Very cute game, not too hard and the pictures were beautiful (well, in their sugary-cute way, but it was kinda soothing after playing a bunch of shooting games... ^^)
Well worth the five playthroughs !
Hmm, something's not right there... I'm short by $2500 at the end of day 11, and I have only bought artillery and golden nail. Oh well, I suppose I'll try with artillery only.
bigbadbyte > I agree that the shop isn't extremely practical, but you should double check what you're saying before you post your comment. There are keyboard shortcuts, and what's more, one of them is EXACTLY the example you gave... Namely, ctrl+click (buys/sells immediately the item on which you click). You can also hit Space once you have selected an item, with the same result.
markhh (from two pages ago) > It isn't only you. I've done it a couple of times too, usually when I wasn't aiming for the free roll, and I always hate myself when it happens =P
Oh, and I read the FAQ, but it seems that the answer to most of my reproaches are "didn't have time to make it better"... I don't know about my fellow Kongregate users, but I'd much rather wait for three years and play a really great game (or take three years to make it if I was the developer, for that matter) than hurrying to put together an okay game in a few months. Quality is more important than quantity, especially since Flash games are already found in impressive quantities on the Internet.
Extremely disappointed by the story. Clichéd, like traxter said. And it was kind of annoying that nearly all targets were violent men who bullied women. Talk about manichaeism... I also had a hard time rooting for the heroine considering I found her to be extremely sadistic (what with her tendency to blow off specific parts of the head, to the extent that you fail the mission if you don't shoot ther O_o) but this aspect isn't treated with the least ambiguity in your storyline ; otherwise, she could have been much more interesting. But no. Her status as a good guy (well, girl) is never really discussed.
The graphics of the cutscenes are truly beautiful, though. Work on a more complex storyline, add more variety in the missions and it could be a really great game.
