The hit detection seems spotty or something. Half the time you barely brush against a guy and go spinning out. Other times I can drive right over the top of someone and HE goes spinning.
The controls need a lot of work, the basic moves shouldn't take up so much power. Actually, I don't like the whole 'power' meter at all, since the enemy generally sends you flying with one hit every time. This would've been better as a 2D brawler.
These 'escape' games usually amount to random clicking and pixel hunting for minescule trinkets or figuring out the creators twisted logic, as opposed to common sense.
Well... its' 3D Tetris. Sadly, the angle on the playing field is a little too steep. It can sometimes be hard to see where you need to put your pieces. Game also desperately needs music of some kind.
One of the most obnoxious games I've had the displeasure of playing. The sounds are irritating at best, your ship glides around like it's on ice and you have to work up combos to do any damage at all.
Would it be so much to ask that your bullets actually go where you aim? It makes it really hard to dodge and shoot at the same time and standing still and shooting is pretty much a death sentence. Your handgun should have infinite ammo because the lead pipe is virtually useless.
Not bad. I like that there finally seems to be a story to go with it, but it's really just more of the same. The scripted sequences, like the one in the intro, are so cool that it makes me wish I could do that kind of stuff in the game. As it is, it's still just jumpin' around and shooting until the next door opens up.
This game is far too difficult to be much fun. The first boss and enemies afterward seem to absolutely rape you unless you grind for gold to get Artifacts. The opponents attack quickly and repeatedly stun you while all you have is a pathetic slingshot/crosboow, ONE stun attack and the flamethrower which does pathetic damage and takes too long to cast. Needless to say, this needs way more balancing before it'll be actually worth playing.
Okay, my biggest peeve with this game is the recoil. C'mon, we know guns have recoil but I don't want to have to put up with the insane kickback the guns in this GAME give you. What's the point of an automatic weapon if I can only fire like two shots at a time? And 15 points for the badge? The story mode, like others have said, is laughable. The ONLY enemy with a weapon is the last boss.
-2/5
If you're going to market a song (or songs) you could do far better. Look at "The Cool" game that features Lupe Fiasco. At least that features full songs and is far more replayable.
A lot of these people seem to give out four and five-star ratings like candy, which makes the game very easy. Even if you don't know the movie in question you can pick four or five stars every time and get a descent score.
