Something about this reminds me of Shadow of the Colossus. There aren't any super giant monsters to fight (As far I could tell), but all of these endurance fruits and climbing on vines and stuff while a mysterious voice talks to you, and weird alter in the middle and the light that points toward your next destination... I'm feeling a bit nostalgic.
Anyone having an issue with 17 because they can't do things fast enough: Space out your three cells first (cells move backward when they send out links, so to get your attacking cell a decent distance from the support cells, you'll want to link then cut, link then cut, a few times). The further apart the cells are, the more it takes to connect them (and thus more is added to your attacker once you cut the link). Doing this, you'll only need to cut 2 times at the most during the actual attack, and you won't need to worry about reestablishing another link cut even more into the attacker before it's too late. It still requires a bit of fast acting, because you still need to make a cut before the attacker runs out, but no more than the earlier levels.
Oh, and I think I had someone die, but he continued to live on as a skeleton and killed everything he ran into. And he continued to be useful. So I'm thinking this is a bug.
I'm a little curious as to where the hint is for the color combo. I managed to get passed that bit with the walkthrough, but I'm not sure where I'm supposed to look to know that it's those particular colors.
Agahh! The voice acting! Man, you should consider adding an option for turning that off without turning off the other sounds of the game. I typically like to play a game with the sound effects and background music, but I'm not sure if I can tolerate the voices. At least you provided a mute, though. Thanks for that.
I might just be having seriously bad luck, but I never find any loot drops for crafting cloth armor/plate armor. Lots of drops for craft leather armor, though. It's highly inconvenient since I need to be able to make the cloth armor, and I don't think I'll ever actually be able to, since I'm getting absolutely zero in the drops necessary.
You know, when I first read the title, I started to hope that this was about zombies being surrounded. I'm a little disappointed, even though it was to be expected.
It is a bit odd with how the more people you manage to get to commit suicide, the 'safer' the house is. I haven't managed to get anywhere near all 30 people to kill themselves, so there might be a little easter egg there.
Am I supposed to be unable to move for the final fight? (At least I think it's the final) It seems like that status effect should have worn off after the first bit.
@Timmeh7o7: This game is based on a book called The Search for WandLa. So, if you want a written summery of the story, I'd go read that. Of course, I was feeling the same frustrations about not really understanding what was going on. I think the game for The Museum of Thieves did a better job of making me want to read that book.
There's this thing that all the other oceans have. It's called an ocean floor. Earthquakes can occur there. I don't see why the Arctic Ocean would be void of it's own ocean floor, but maybe Santa Claus banished it or something. I have no idea whether an underwater earthquake at the north pole would actually result in a robot needing to rescue a cat from hypothermia, but if those things can cause tsunamis occasionally, then I imagine it might have the potential to cause a little havoc for the hunks of ice in the way.
Also, for the Celsius vs Fahrenheit thing: -10 degrees in Fahrenheit is -23 degrees in Celsius, while -10 degrees in Celcius is 14 degrees in Farenheit. So unfortunately, the -10 degrees is colder when in Farenheit.
