Bit Battles

Oct. 28, 2013

I would LOVE to see a multiplayer version of this game. Granted, not approached the same way with "each battle nets you a level," but some different way that makes it fair for everyone. Perhaps the Fire Emblem approach of "every unit is strong against one unit and weak against another," creating a sort of Rock, Paper, Scissors game within the standard bit-style game. Regardless how it's approached, like I said, I would LOVE to see a multiplayer version of this.

Fun, compelling, and challenging gameplay, very interesting and visually appealing graphics, and, most of all, hilariously entertaining dialogue. Loved every moment of it! Can't wait till I get the max Hand Cannon. XD

I'd say these things get attached at the hip but... they don't really seem to have hips...

Mystery IQ Test

144, and I'm not all that surprised. Fun game mixed in with honest IQ test elements. Doesn't rely heavily on language, which is how an IQ test should be. Awesome. 5/5 from me.

Level 1-10: Well this is a nice little game Level 11-20: Ah, here comes some welcome difficulty. Level 21-30: Oh look, a new mechanic! Awesome! Level 31-40: Upping the difficulty again. Level 41-50: Woah... ANOTHER new mechanic? Sweet! Level 51-55: Okay, now it's starting to get REALLY difficult. Level 56-59: GAME WHY? WHAT DID I DO TO DESERVE THIS?! Level 60: ... uh... well, that was... unexpected. Cool though. Overall, I only thought of raging on three levels, and that's 56, 57, and 59. Everything else I really enjoyed. 4/5

For anyone who for some reason is reading the comments before completing the game, I suggest you play through the game in this order: 1st playthrough: Save Christina 2nd playthrough: Save Steve 3rd playthrough: Save Troy 4th playthrough: Save Lionel By saving these people in this order, the true theme of the entire plotline is introduced more slowly, piece by piece. Technically you can save them in any order and still understand, however if you do this I still highly suggest you save Lionel last. I won't say any more on why, but trust me when I say it'll make a lot more sense that way.

Layer Maze 4

Really great and very challenging game. Took me about an hour, most of which was spent on the final level. Have to say, really had to wrack my brain to figure it out, but I got it. Although I got stuck once, that was on level 10, not 7. *shrugs*

Really nice game. I love games that really make you think laterally, and this really provided. Played the first two as well, and I'll admit they were fun, but those were mostly showing off cool designs with challenging mazes mixed in. This? This manages to keep the same visually appealing designs, while not making them as ridiculously easy at the last two. In fact, my final time (before the 50% cut from all 35 stars) was more than both of my times on the previous two put together. Gonna play 4 as soon as I wake up tomorrow.

Not sure if I'm the only one with this, or if it's even a glitch, but is the Boin count supposed to go down when you purchase something? If it isn't a glitch, I REALLY like that idea. If it IS a glitch, might wanna check into that. Either way, good work! This'll entertain me for the next week!

God, I love EVERYTHING about this game. Half the time, I find myself building a massive colony, then summoning massive thunderclouds over my opponents head, rather than attacking them head-on. XD

I love games like this! Stealth games were always my forte. Is it any surprise that I found all 3 sweet spots that hardly anyone goes to? Beat this game in one sitting with 1 minute to spare. Also, I found the cat! Nice little easter egg dude!

Day 19: Wow, they're still cranking out new enemies? I don't think most games nowadays even have THIS many enemies. Day 20: WTF? Yesterday there were U.F.O.s, now there are MOTHERSHIPS? Okay, I'm gonna keep playing for 30 days to see if any new enemies pop-up... DAMMIT! WHY??? This kind of game should never have a predetermined end!

HOLY SHEEP!!! I thought the heart rate upgrade would be an annoying heart beat sound so I saved it for last. Trust me, my heart rate definitely upgraded once I got it...

Jeeze. The entire game was spine-chilling. The graphics reminded me of Limbo, and every time I entered a room I expected something to jump at me. The one note that regarded the anti-gravity power-up did not help my fears. only got the escape ending, and nothing is making me want to go back and get the other two. Great game and all, 4/5 stars, but JEEZE!!!

This game could have been a great game. It has awesome ideas, but isn't very... what's the word... addicting. I was looking forward to something more flashy and satisfying, not a card game that tries to be a real-time action game. The mages were cool, shooting their fire and all, but it would have been a lot cooler to see the enemy get scorched or something from it. Like I said before, needs a lot more flash, or maybe even a way to screw with your opponents resources?

Awesome game all in all, but it feels a little incomplete. I was sad to se that there was no final boss, or at least ANY big heavy tanks at the end(Unless I killed them too fast to see them X-P). And the final sholder rocket is FRIGGIN BEASTLY fully upgraded, but it seems to be just a tad over-powered(although watching 100+ enemies die at once on the final level is AWESOME!!!)

The only improvement I can think of would be to be able to interact with the life on a planet, but I'm sure that it will come in time. ;-)

Also, if you want to know what K.O.L.M. stands for then collect the tiles (you don't need all of them if you are good at filling in blanks) ant it will tell you on the final screen before the "end" screen.

JESUS! I love this game, and I loved the carefree "do whatever you want" aspect. Bus then I got to the core and thought "hey look, another item" all of a sudden, I'm pumping my jump springs and triple rockets to GTFO as fast as possible! The story was good, and the gameplay was even gooder. 4/5
