@GameBuilder15 If you played Mardek Chapter 2, you'd immediately know who the Mystery Man is, and why he has an eyepatch over his eye. You'll see that many characters from Mardek 2 come back in a different way in this one. Plus, I can't wait for Mardek 4 to be unleashed. Imagine the epicness!
@Orangatuan The differences between the attacks is how much focus, as well as attack speed, is used in each attack. The light attack is your weakest attack, but most accurate because it can get past an opponent's defense before they can raise their shield or dodge. The normal is balanced due to a simple forward slash attack, sometimes the enemy can block/dodge, while still maintaining some decent accuracy. The Heavy Attack is a leaping vertical slash, a move most easy to block/dodge, thus, fairly inaccurate, but it does deal the most amount of damage based on your weapon, if you're lucky. Also, accuracy depends on you weapon/magic attack and your tactics, as well as the difficulty of the enemy.
Impressive game, upgrades and mods got expensive at a managable rate, enemy difficulty progression was exponential at a moderate rate, storyline kept me glued to the screen for the most part, loved that drunk panda, and story outcome was very well thought. Overall, 10/5, you earned it after such a massive upload.
"Ah, welcome to my shop, see anything you like?" "Yes, I'm wondering if you have Mana Potions." "Ma'am, for the last time, we deal with clothing, light armorments, and bladed weaponry, no potions." "So... you don't even have restoration herbs?" "GTFO!!!"
Principal: "Ok, you're next quest for this week is to go hunt thirty angry, snarling, blood-curdling, human-eating wolves." Student: "We did that last week! We lost Paul to them!" Principal: "Do it or I don't get to be Principal here anymore!!" Student: "Alright... come on epic sorceress-who-I'll-never-be-as-strong-as..."
It sickens me how most MMOs that are browser based these days are either time-waiting or use an "energy" system. I'd like to, for once, play a browser based MMO that doesn't have me waiting for energy or to continue playing. Seriously, I understand people are hurting for money, that's what the donations are for.
"Wait a minute, where are my cheesy snacks?! NOOOOOOO!!!" Well, congratulations, you destroyed the world, but you forgot your favorite snack dueschebag! WHO HAS THE LAST LAUGH NOW! Oh wait... still you... F#@&!!!
Ability to make the best armor and weapons, potentially over 500k, being labeled Unremarkable Citizen, worthless... I'm sorry, but being able to make the best weapons and armor deserves recognition at some point!
Teenager: "Hey, I just wanna party in Cancun for Spring Break!" Border Patrol: "Nope, can't let you do that, there's a virus that doesn't kill anyone, but is highly infectious sweeping Mexico and everywhere else." Teenager: "Doesn't sound too bad." Gets shot.
Caesar: "Hey Vercing, ever felt like we've fought here before?" Vercing: "Nope, no clue, I don't even remember a big red flag." Caesar: "NOW I REMEMBER! WE FOUGHT HERE ON THE TITLE SCREEN!" Vercing: "Sonofa...."
Three great rules of Egypt. 1: Don't disturb old decaying mummies. 2: That's not gold, it's just sand... alot of sand. 3: Egypt will fall by a giant fire-belching worm.
Veradux: "I see you are fighting an enemy with multiple skills and one of them is almost dead. I'll just do nothing." Veradux: "I see you're almost dead, but can heal yourself next turn. I'll heal myself." Veradux: "I see we're facing an enemy that can kill in one hit. I'll remove his regeneration ability." Sonny: "Mind actually helping with the team for once?!?!"
@oldskoolfool WarFlow is extremely similar to the browser MMO Batheo. Same strategy needed, same concept of items and upgrading. The difference is cooldown timers. In Batheo, you upgrade something once, and you have to wait for the cooldown to take effect. In WarFlow, you can keep upgrading until you're builders' time turns red (typically a 4 hours wait). Both have a recharge system where you pay to get additional gold. Both have multiple areas and battle screens. Only real difference I noticed was Batheo moved smoother during the battles.
