guys, I found a way to do other stuff and let this game idle in the background. Open it in another window instead of another tab and it continues like normal.
Made it to level 11, has to stop playing for a bit but I'll finish the game in a while. simple concept, good difficulty curve, levels that are challenging enough to feel good to complete without being annoyingly hard. Love this kind of game! 5/5
Honestly...the devs don't seem to care at all if their game is fun or not. They only want to get players to pay them as much money as they can and that's it. This has caused the game to stop being enjoyable so I have decided to quit this game. I encourage others to join me in this so they see the error of their ways.
Seriously people, they WILL eventually cave in. Stop buying shit from them and rate the game poorly and that will get their attention. Unek0ng is right: first the up the energy limit and now this sale times just right now that we've brought up boycotting them? They clearly ARE hearing us... now let's just make them listen.
I would like to amend my statement. There is another way to get their attention. On top of rating the game 1 star and being vocal about it, another effective method would be to boycott any form of paying with real money in anything involved with the developer. This game in particular. These two methods together will make our efforts all the more successful!
This is the only way to get the dev's attention: By affecting the game's rating. If you rate the game as 1 star and state in the comments, or anywhere else they might see, your opinions about the fuel system they WILL eventually cave and remove the it from the game if enough of us cooperate in this endeavor.
While literally tripling the amount of campaign missions there is to do.... I can't say I'm a fan of them adding in an energy system to the campaign. Especially the fact you get 1 fuel every 7 minutes. Even games that are blatantly just cash grabs don't have that long of a refill time.
Everyone looking for your 4th 5th and 6th mechs, they are in the arena screen. And yes, it IS a terrible spot for it (at least for it to be the only spot for it).
So, I'm in the camp of people not happy about the most recent update. There is a lot of stuff not showing up properly (like damage values not showing up mid-combat. Not sure if it's just me though). Also I'm not a fan of being required to back out to the main menu and go to the arena to be able to change my mech order. Perhaps a way to access the order from both menus would be great. I do like the way the new menu looks, but I also like seeing a weapons stats (and all of the stats for that matter) by just hovering over them.
That being said, I don't want to have this update just removed. I think it will look a lot better once the issues are fixed.
I disagree with 5000, but not necessarily with increased weight capacity. I think a way to increase the max maybe to maybe 2000 max would be interesting. Like, high level upgrades would be able to either increase weight capacity. It would have to take up a slot at least. Maybe instead of having a drone that does damage, you increase your weight cap by equipping a carrier drone to increase your overall capacity. (not by literally equipping things to the drone, rather the drone just has that effect to increase weight cap by a certain amount depending on the level). Obviously a carrier drone's value would be in it's passive instead of the damage it would do be activinging it in battle (the option would possibly not even be there as having it float or be inactive wouldn't matter mid-battle)
It could be done through specialized torsos. Instead of focusing on health or something it would have bonus carry weight.
Thanks :)
