Aw, the little blue goo is so happy when it gets its reward at the end of each level.
Nitrome does it again - designing an utterly new take on a old genre. Bravo.
Lovely game as always Nitrome, just too damn hard to beat.
I second a few of the other players, that checkpoints would be nice - replaying the same
level for the seventh time in a row begins to become a bit grueling.
Can't be rated as a casual game (which it isn't) as the learning curve is too steep.
This game requires concentration.
5/5 for content. Did you know that radio and TV went through the same sort of censorship in the old days? That there's an organ, not elected, that has set the rules for radio and TV? You and I have no influence over said organ, they will censor as they wish, without our say-so.
Who voted for this? Nobody, that's who. Scary, innit?
Charming game overall - just one hiccup, tossing the 'plane with the mouse will sometimes fail, and I mean utterly. The 'plane just falls to the ground and you've wasted a day.
If it was merely me being butterfingers I'd never say a word, but ones control is a bit iffy.
Otherwise a wonderful little casual timewaster. Will save in my favorites.
Brilliant - enormously charming, filled with ambiance. It's almost meditative to play.
I gave you five out of five, top marks. Thanks for making and sharing this.
Interesting thing, I'm playing the game on Firefox - and when I use the "ambush" ability (given by the "invisible" lady) everything freezes. My CPU tick into overtime, using almost 100% of it's capacity on this game. 30-45 seconds later, the move unfreezes and the game continues. My CPU returns to the usual 10-20% usage.
A bug perhaps?
When you round the 14th -15th level, upgrading takes for ever. I'm glad to say that this has been rectified in the second game.
It is frustrating, when all the bosses are level 18 and up, and no matter how many minor monsters you kill, you're still bloody level 15 forever.
A challenging platformer, where you have to use both hands in a contra-intuitive way.
I've fried poor watergirl, and fizzled out poor fireboy more times than I can count.
Must say, it's not much of a game. As a player I don't have much to do with the actual fighting, I fiddle with a few stats and lean back, letting the game play itself.
I'm afraid there's a bug in the game. On level 2 there's two "heroes", one outside the playing field.
Unfortunately as that figure is trapped, it's impossible to leave, which means it's impossible to continue.
In a Tower Defense game, do you actually have to aim your towers manually against the enemy and shoot the arrows manually?
