no offence? buggy as hell, needs editing. an obvious cash grab, and not successful at that either. a good cash grab game still needs to have some reason for playing it. 1/5
ok, so here I am, flying across the screen, laughing at the spikes. I yell "I'M FRICKING SUPERMAN!...and you all can guess what happened next. a conveniently placed spike neatly cut my superman's head off. damn thats some strong ass kryptonite!
hilarious highlights for me include: the beholder with tentacles' special attack (and Natz's reaction), the Protesting NPCs, (shopkeepers hoard all the wealth), the beach scene where Natz complains about photos of her on the internet, the dialogue between Lance and Matt about Lance hiding cameras on himself so he doesn't have to annoy Natz by staring at her, Matt in general ( I mean come on, the guy is hilarious), and the premise in general.
just about died laughing at several points throughout the game. not only does EBF4 build on its predecessors in terms of gameplay and story, but humour as well. I found myself playing almost as much to see what the characters would say in situations. EBF4 sets an extremely high standard for flash games. I'm also glad to see that a game dev can create a game that makes fun of the genre (turn based fantasy) while delivering a performance worthy of major league titles at the same time. well played, sir. well played.
dude, who needs Lance's tank to break through the stones? all you would need is matt's head and a strong arm to swing him with! he's certainly dense enough :P
People who say we need online play...as an aspiring developer myself, I can say that online play is slightly more difficult then you might think. just saying. there are a lot of variables that go with online play that devs might want to avoid, especially if they make em for fun.
the voice acting was much improved, but lost another point for me due to the EXTREME imbalance of the character combos. so, 3/5 for me, but easily could be 4 or 5. all round, great work here. llamas and cheerleaders are original from the first game, and the upgrading system for them is much better than original concept. thanks for taking out the slime things. the llama battles are far superior to the llama races, and my only other complaint is that you can't beat the tar out of that angelly emmisary dude periodically. but that's a minor one. solid effort, well done. a well done if imbalanced sequal to a good original concept.
Well I see you find the shielder and paladin combo OP, I personally think is a great "slow and steady win the race" combination, but I dont think they are necessary OP. I assume you are a rpg player and I think that you play good/are good at tactics. On the hands of an inexperienced player of RPG that party will find a lot of troubles in some enemy waves and bosses, due the lack of burst damage and reliance on buffs. Of course if its your gameplay, Im happy you enjoyed it !
my paladin revived him that turn, tank back up with full hp, spent 3 turns regaining all buffs. GREAT GAME otherwise, but -1 for locking parts of game. If you're gonna make premium content, please don't lock parts of game. instead make add ons. do the 5 characters then add the others in the premium version. please don't have adverts all throughout the game advertising premium content. one ad gets your point across, gets same amount of views (if well placed) and doesn't annoy people, making them more likely. all around, this game was better.
the shield guys, not content at being walls, also in this one add even more overpowered moves to their roster. with Juggernaught+shield bash=over 2k damage at level ten, I can basically one or two hit KO any ordinary enemy. about the only enemy I can't 2 hit kill (excluding bosses, which I play for tank, not damage) is the death knight. that I can kill in 3. during the flame dagger boss, I revived my tank a grand whopping total of 4 times (and my paladin had full fricking hp the entire time) and I basically whittled him down to nothing. The only point that I wasn't laughing my head off was when he instakilled my tank/shield thingy. and at that point I had to leave cause otherwise I literally would have pissed myself laughing.
HEY! Wow, you writed a lot! thanks for the feedback indeed! :D let me check one by one!
