To be honest, losing everything ruins the game for me. The first quest gave me such good items that progress slowed incredibly after I used the wings.

I can't progress past the Silly Troll because I accidentally pressed down before picking up the key and the troll's arm was already dead. Now the chest is already open when I go back so I can't get a new key.

The problem with this game is that it's difficult because the controls were made difficult to use, not because the platforming is hard.

It's a decent game if you treat it like an idle game. Set up an autoclicker to automatically go the next game and just let it accumulate materials and gems and it's not bad. It would be torturous to actually play it to completion, though.
