I now want to play a 3D RPG game that involves most of that. Good content, good music, good art. It was short but that's fine. This is finally something different.
Also: Please make the homing ships hitable. It's annoying how they force you to fly around all the time, taunting the player with their invulnerability - just like the mines.
Good: The design and general layout. Controls are smooth and simple. Music doesn't hurt the brain.
Needs improvement: The field of view - it's just too small - you don't even see a quater of the battlefield. That makes lock-on abilities almost useless. And the shop really is too small. I expected to see ships, weapons, shields and stuff like that. More customizable ships.
The intro is very good. The game itself looks okay.
But honestly? Who thought of those controls?
K and L are horrible buttons
why not use space to fire and maybe F or E for bombs?
This game is about hipsters.
As soon as he realizes it's mainstream he changes his mind.
Then people start following that, he gets mad because what he just liked is mainstream AGAIN and then he hipsters some more.
You can level up by just walking left in the beginning without losing health.
And you can press both arrows to walk on the spot.
At first it was confusing but it's really simple to understand after thinking about it for a few seconds.
And I just read all of the story because I like reading.
Though... it really sounds like Final Fantasy to me.
Parts good, parts okay and parts VERY FRUSTRATING.
Especially the jumping puzzles.
It's a wonderful idea and game but some parts are just too annoying to give this a supreme rating.
It's a nice, interesting game. At the beginning I didn't really understand what to do but the game is so simple that you learn it rather quickly.
The red ones and the first death suprised me a bit but after a few minute even that is mastered. It's really not hard to understand the game but I think it gets rather dull after a while, even with new "enemies".
I do not approve that you have to time your moves.
The tree is so big, it would smash the whole house anyway - why does the reincarny have to be in that specific room?
Or why can't you just make it work there all the time to avoid that timing-part...
Ok - some things I'd like to have in this game:
Click penguin to make him take a different target or make him change direction or something.
or at least round blocks so they don't get stuck as that badly.
Greater income. Eating upgrade - penguin gains health for eating. List of enemies and their abilities. Enemies that take more than 1 hit.
"Press Space to start Level"
Why can't I use my mouse instead? The whole game is played with the mouse but I still need the keyboard to start the level. I can't use P to pause or R to restart the level and I can't select the commands with the numbers.
Why do I need spacebar?
The game is pretty dull.
The challanges are boring, killing the enemies is a chore to me. Why is there so much space if you can't even use it properly? So much underground and the surface is tiny.
