There needs to be a way to auto complete the rest of the row when the number of colors have been matched. It's a pain when there's only a few colors in a row and you have to manually double click the rest of the squares to cross them out. Maybe just make it so you can double click the row.
This is the only game where i didn't want the music to get more epic. That feeling you get when the dubstep quiets down and you know it's about drop and unleash over 9000 lasers and balls at you is freaking scary.
So after you put the funnel in the parrot's mouth, did anyone else proceed to check every item in your inventory to see if you could put it in the parrots mouth?
Obviously influenced by Fallout. And there are a couple of things from Fallout that could make this game way better. First of all, if you're going to include junk items, make it so that you can sell them for small amounts of money. Second, the storage locker should have way higher room (the one in Fallout has unlimited room). Third, you should be able to set your companions behaviors (aggressive, passive, etc.). I like that you added the extra notes around town that don't really have to do with the main storyline. But you should make it so that they narrate their own story, maybe keep a page in the journal for notes that you've read so that they eventually piece together.
Obviously the best story on Kongregate. The game gets a 5/5 regardless, but there are a few things about the game play that would make the perfect. For one, I would like to see the ability to reorder your weapons. I found myself never using machinegun after a few levels and I don't need it to be hotkeyed to one instead of laser and wave. Also, a log of what characters say would be awesome. This game's strongest point is its story and being able to reread it (along with some of the information about stats and mods) would go a long way. Finally, the weapon upgrades could use some tweaking. I would have liked to see upgrading weapons do more than increase damage. It would also give rise to more customization as each weapon could be upgraded differently (fast weapons like the laser could get even faster and weapons specializing in aoe like spread could increase the number of shots released). Other than that, fix the funky collision mechanics and this would be a perfect game.
I never used ghost towers until the last level and realized how much they kick ass. On the last level theres only two mana pools so your mana goes up pretty slowly. But if you have ~20 points in the important blue skills (especially freeze), you can build only crypts and get brilliant on the level. Build about three or four crypts on each side of the map and watch them own all the early waves. Once you upgrade them all to ghost towers, you get a ridiculous amount of mana per wave. If you have meteor maxed out too, the ninja champion dies with five consecutive meteors (which shouldnt be a problem considering your mana regen).
To make stamina and agility training less stressful, make it so that the point value increases the longer you stay alive. Either that or make it so you get stats from doing well in races.
Freeze is the most OP status ever. If you're lucky enough to get a weapon with it early on (you probably won't), equip it to your fastest guy and lol at the permafreeze.
The trick to getting the hard badge is to focus on getting the special car first, as in not trying to get first in every race but just settling for top 3. Once the special car is unlocked, everything is stupidly easy.
Special skills shouldn't count towards the valid moves count. I shouldn't have to use a skill when I don't want to just because I have no other moves left and the board won't reset.
