Well, that was...different. I had a very difficult time trying to find the blues. The map should be smaller, or the view should be bigger. Interesting concept, but I fail to see the progress being made to the pointy side of the food chain. All you do is eat blues. And that's it. You never eat reds. And therefore you make no progress. The title is irrelevant to the game. But in the actual game, it was boring fast; the blobs chased you, you ran, you ate other blobs. The levels only differentiate in backgrounds. The fact is that this game is very repetitive, and is very boring on top of that. I did not think it was fun; the concept was very dry and the gameplay bland throughout the duration of the game, and I received no enjoyment; therefore the I give this game a 1/5.
Well, for the first game on kongregate, I find myself impressed. It is challenging and fun, and it is difficult to find a simple game that makes you really work for it. As it stands, my record is 480, and it is pretty fun. However, the controls are very awkward, and the boulders more of a pain than an obstacle. Just when I think I know the controls, I go right over the edge trying to avoid a boulder. It would be much easier if it were up and down as opposed to diagonal; it makes the gameplay awkward and unenjoyable. If the boulders were more predictable, it maybe wouldn't be such an annoying hassle. Overall, a good comeback of the classic climbers such as the original donkey kong, a nice game, and a 3/5.
