"Oh yes you can effectively play the other two classes, you just need to reach lvl 50....oh also now we nerf the character you can play to make it a bit harder to go through this grind hell. How you like THAT? " I like the roquelite approach, I like the core mechanics and the rng is ok too, but it got repetitive even before the cleave nerf and now that they actually made it harder I feel little to no motivation to go back to this. Solid game, I like the humour that flares up here and there. But after a certain point it just feels dull. With the nth dragon added it becomes a mere question wether you succeed rolling that +8/9 sword and find enough scrolls. SO almost a pure gae of chance, as long as you don't do something super stupid. And yeah, they just worsened the odds.
I remember how some people formerly working with the pubs disclosed some of the methods on how they milk people for cash and how they see them. Was reaaaal ugly. Funny ho this is featured on kong yet again... lol
Did tehy change something about the game? Yesterday I could get ez to 9x/9x prodigy/golem. Today my golem seems to be frozen around lvl 90 is and I can's seem to get higher..changed nothing at all about my build...super confused. Feels like I suddenly took a huge step backwards
Grab the badges (if you really need to) and be done with it. Knowing you can ditch it at any time makes it a bit less pinful, but is the usual p2w, coinflip bs game mechanics we've come to know and despise for a long time now..
Interesting game idea but mouse only control based on right click is a big no-no. I know there are ways to deal with that on the user side, but I am a bit shocked people still do that. Won't rate this down since it seems to be an ambitious project, but instead I will wait to see how the devs react.. this has potential at least.
This was bloody awesome...loved the story thus far, hate the cliffhanger , can't wait for more. Neat stuff! 5 stars for sure. Been a LONG time since a game on kong made me grin like this. Thanks!
Very nice game, both visually as well as gameplay wise, very good soundtrack as well, glad to see some quality on Kong again. Only (slight) downer is I seem to notice some memory leak, especially on stage 4...but that might just come with flash. ALso awesome to see a dev who actually CARES for once!
I have no problems with devs trying to make a bit of money with their games, but then the game should actually be fun and not a pure repetitive grindfest.
At this point I have a hard time to justify using warriors. With comparable equipment and level my warriors can't do dungeons much harder than my rogues, yet rogues explore and clear( due to higher damage output) dungeons faster and also earn me better rewards...
Right now, the balance is kind of weird anyway, as rogues and warriors both need to be able to solo a dungeon. Warriors are designed to be better at taking damage, while rogues are a physical damage dealer. Of course, when parties come in it might be better to use _both_ of them...
Kong really don't give a darn anymore about which games get badges or featured, no kidding. This is horrible in so many ways and CLEARLY was boosted in the ratings. But for that too they obviously don't care as long as there is traffic. Just makes me feel sorry for devs who actually push out creative stuff into which they put effort and hard work
Game is NOT balanced. The food is nice, but what do potions help when the best gives you 150 mana (which isn't even enough for a single ability use later on) but costs 1k gold....1 K means you have to actually clean a map more or less...for ONE potion. That is an insane grind.
@ LITTLEGIANTWORLD Thank you for the quick reply, I am talking about the den bug. Endgame many people can not access the dragon's den. Which makes it impossible to adjust your teams as needed and basically makes you unable to progress any further. Besides this issue I really had fun with the game, albeit it was a bit repetitive, but some nice ideas in there.
