Seriously though, as a mage Feronious always freezes on me. I cast Ice Nova, then start the Pyroblast spell... I get "scared" once by Feronious' roar, then my fireball drops and kills him, then it just sits there, bongos blaring. Freezes. Holds up. Kaput.
Poor controls, poor game... and another example of a PAY TO UPGRADE game that is not advertised as such on the front end. I'm fine with people designing games to make money with, but don't leave the fact hidden. Some people aren't ever interested in this kind of pay structure in a game, so it's good to know what they're investing time in to begin with.
Great game, great theme - but I echo other comments: Upgrades cost an awful lot for not much payoff, and the boss is incredibly difficult, even with full ship upgrades. I'm not willing to do it one million times to try and beat the guy, but the rest fo the game was fun enough to make it worth playing.
Awesome game! I hope you update and expand it in the future. I agree with many of the above comments... noticed there are frequently "invisible" enemies occupying hexes. I do not see them on-screen until I try to move into the hex, then suddenly I am fighting.
Would be helpful if the command to 'JUMP' was included on the instruction screen, along with how to move form side to side, up and down, shoot, and reload. Makes the game difficult when you can't jump at all... and 'CONTROL' is an awkward key for it once you've figured it out.
