I love lvl 17. Although using the shock of giving and receiving Tentacles is ONE way to beat it, i prefer the way i believe it was intended to be beat. Microbes INSIDE the tentacles are not counted in the cell; have the tentacles going in a pattern between your three cells. Have the closest cell launch, then reverse it's other tentacle. When it's almost there, release the support tentacles so all the microbes go into the Attacking Cell, then re-establish the lines. This will cause WAY more than 16 microbes to be in the Tentacle, and allowing it to reach all the way across the screen. This is also faster than relying on Recoil. (sorry for the double post- last one i accidentally said "19" rather than "17". Wanted to avoid confusion. (maybe we should be able to edit our own comments...))

Easy. Very easy. i Full Cleared. I only needed the golden, the Attack Booster, and occasionally the Eye. This even works on Survival, assuming you replace the Cheese'd towers, and you actually move around to hit them (because your attk will be rediculous with that many Souls)
someone has been playing Starfox 64. almost half of the storyline lines are modded from it, and the ending is a clear tribute to the credit reel you had to watch EVERY STINKING TIME you beat StarFox64 before learning your score. (it goes without saying, i have that ending memorized. :P)
i luv this game, and how each clan can support a different playstyle. I can play Chaos Desert and Burning Hill very easily, and i become rediculously overpowered, especially with CD. Chaos Desert's abilitys to send out rediculous numbers of bolts, and the ability to reduce the opponents special makes them the easiest class to win with, in my opinoin. By the end, it was literally impossible to beat me. I would only get hit once, ever, per combat, at that was too early for anyone to do anything that could stop me.
Seriously, either add undead minions or take out the Necromancer. The Necro in this game has NOTHING to do with the dead. That's basically the same as giving us a sorcerer who doesn't know any spells, or a Bard who cannot sing or use instruments. It's against the Definition of the class.
you need to add more commands, allow your players to do things that DON'T neccisarrally progress the story. let them make mistakes. Let them lose. the more open-ended a game like this becomes, the better it gets.
only one problem, and it may be with my computer insteid of the game; sometimes, the game suddenly stops registering my keystrokes for a couple minuites. Chat still works, so i have no idea what is going on.
