I was more than able to set up a system so it would probably take an increadable amount of time for the goo to start getting through, and then i noticed my score was going DOWN with time. Why do i get punished for establishing a good home, rather than running asap?
I think the "right" thing to do would be to only flee once the goo starts going too fast for the defenses to hold. Therefore, it'd be a GOOD thing to take forever.
Great game, 5/5, there are bugs, but they have been adequately reported. EVIL LITTLE DOOM FROG! I WILL KILL YOU EVENTUALLY! I got Literally within 2 hits of killing him before Doom got through once. My problem is that Barbarians CANNOT stun enough to keep him from getting off. It requires a lot of luck, high dodge, and high parry. By making adequate use of rage gain abilities, Intercept, Flash Bombs, and Colossus Smash, you can get him stunned for 5 turns out of the 10 recharge; It should be 6 but for some reason, Intercept only stuns for 2 turns including the one you cast it, rather than the advertised 3. How many Stuns do Scouts have? Can they keep him perpetually stunned, or at least stunned more?
small issue. if you fall from the floating rocks, the button to get to the other side of the gate again does not work. you need to die to restart at the checkpoint. this is a fairly big flaw in my opinion.
2/5. didn't like how it was pure click fast, with no strategy or time to think. This game didn't even give you time to read the notes that were left for you.
The game PREVENTED me from killing the head of the rebels. I clicked the kill button, and my character stood there until i hit continue. THERE WAS NO CHOICE, BUT YOU MADE THE PLAYER FEEL LIKE HE SHOULD HAVE HAD ONE. Rather than forcing the player, you could have bothered to come up with two different endings. it wouldn't be that hard, seeing as it would split very late in the game. all you would need to do is write up a second endstory, and it would put in the sense of choice between good and evil, a sense of concequince. Did you go through the arena for the swords? or did you climb for your own personal glory? were you fighting to be the best? the most known? the next emporer? did you desire the swords to destroy evil? or merely so some goody-goody didn't get their hands on it to use against? did you even ever want the swords? kill the leader of the rebels and get accepted as an elite? become a general for the corrupt king? There is so much MORE you could do with this
Brilliant! i just figured out how to get the Super Upgrade! okay, first you need to get the $1,000,000. Then, after that, you need to get 1,000,000 miles long as your maximum. Then after that, you need to type in up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, b, a, enter. Do this twelve times. Then download a emulator of Pokemon red, and beat the elite four using only a Magikarp in your team, seven times without resting at all. Oak will get upset and let you wander around. Go left, right, straight, right, and left. Choose the fourth pokeball, and the data will be sent to this game. The price of the Super Upgrade will be at 1,000,000 again. Oh, and you have to do all this before buying any other upgrades.
amazing. However, it needs to be able to process more than 2 combatants at a time. This game series would be a lot better if there were fights where you might be up against 2 or 3 other mages at once. This would add more challenge to the fight, and would add the ability to have a few fights that are very challenging even if you are the toughest mage in the world, which is not hard. Also, in the final fight, when it has around 100-300 combatants, it would be nice to have the AI run automated battles while you are fighting, so your friends' strength counts, rather than mere numbers. That way, if you somehow managed to get outnumbered by, like, 100-24, then it'd be more realistic in the fact that you won't win. The way it is now, you simply have to have 87 1v1 fights with weaklings, and the you win! this last point sounds like it would be a huge inconvenience to program though, and the game is perfectly fine without it.
