Tip list for the hard badge:
1) go almost straight down first 2-4 days (some wiggle room for extra coins)
2)focus on hull strength, fuel tanks and drill strength
3) get one booster early, get mech mole whenever possible
4) Do not get over rank 5 of steering
5) Ignore achievements until very end; you can get most of them in the same day if you're fully upgraded, or all of them on the last day if you're a cheater.
6) you need $134,000+tax+all achievements to get the hard badge. This should come out to a minimum of $136,246.
To people complaining about drop rates of better things: you will never find iron or coal in the early areas. Fighting the things you can oneshot for hours on end is only good for getting leather and wood most of the time. If you want copper on up, you have to go to higher areas. Careful if you decide to rely on copper though- it takes one wood to craft as well, and after a while you'll stop finding wood unless you go to an earlier area.
Is there some way to refund my point expenditures? Or at least choose which skills the person uses in a fight? I am 100% certain that i would be able to fight at a much higher level in the tournament if i didn't stop to slow the other guy before oneshotting him.
The black opponent has the same moves and resources as you with a few exceptions- 1) it comes in later than the rest of people, with a lot of ships. However, it needs to take planets in order to regain ships, just like you do when you start with more ships htan your planets can hold. 2) it can use the atom thingy- when you take it, the mission ends as if you won, but when it has it, it produces units AFAIK. 3)You can't see exactly how many of them there are, but this shouldn't matter that much becuase you can see how many they are relative to you via the circles during battle.
What does it mean by "Time to build everything"? Does it make purchasing additional buildings cheaper, or is it a weird way to say that everything moves even faster?
I would like 1) an option to have long or shortened numbers, so i can have a more accurate count of my progress and 2) a Ticks to 1Googol highscore chart so you can see if anyone has actually done it.
Well, after spending 2.2million ticks of time on this (A few hours of which was completely afk), i've reached 60 0's. I'll let you know if i get much further because of the buildup of resources from getting here the hard way. i currently have almost 16 SDD A's.
The way the scaling is set up, progress slows to a grind right before hitting 1 QQD. Assuming this is short-scale instead of long-scale, that's right about half way to a Googol, which is the stated goal you see before getting your first H.
H is so cheap because it doesn't really make a large percentage of the money, eventually. It's great for getting free G's and the easiest way to get upgrades, but 300 Hs each producing $128Trillion each tick isn't going to do anything when next to 1 billion Gs each producing $400 Billion each tick.
Every now and then, it alternates between two people for the judges, which is a MASSIVE disadvantage for those two people and ruins the game's balance.
Scoreboards are totally busted. We'll fix'em, but not super soon.
