This game has not survived the test of time. It is damn poorly optimised, the game lags a lot with inputs and the movement is so janky. I don't know, I want to get the achievements but don't think the game would even cope with it.
Top comments are really valuable, give those a read if you're after the hard badge. Females are OP. I in particular really like the phy females in particular, the magilancers are extremely tanky and essentially have two seperate health pools, two seperate regen sources. Should be retiring your party once they get to 30. Should have a second, similar party around 10-15 by then though so you won't lose tournaments.
120 levels? Geez. A bit much I think for a flash game. Weird complaint, I know. More content the better. But seeing as i'm just using the same troops everytime, it feels a bit repetive. The different game modes make the grind less grindy though, so kudos to that. Fun enough game though. I really like the levelling, stuff like that is my favourite. A safe 4/5 personally.
Damn, you tricked at the beginning. Making me think i've played this game before. Was thinking to myself I don't remember this at all, I may as well restart anyway so I can experience it from the beginning then you do it for me. Well played.
Love this concept. Would play the hell out of a more developed full game. Slightly less incremental (get stronger slower) more active and add a campaign. Let the dragon have minions to fight alongside him. We need to be invaded for a gradual source of gold. More upgrades. A temporary ally in the beginning to protect the newborn even? Limited health, dies to attackers / invaders eventually and we need to be prepared for it.
Man, love the concept, this has so much potential. Would even pay for it. Hope your studio considers it!
Trash. I don't get why Kongregate dilutes their collection of awesome games with shit like this, just so a kid on the internet has a D icon next to their name. Good job kid, you did it, you got a D. Not the first time, your grades are used to it and you will be a constant dissapointment to your family.
At first, this game made me want to go revisit the classic game of this genre. I told myself I was just here to hunt for the achievements, as I do. But then, I'm finding myself really attracted to it. It has a lot of the charm of the S&P universe but with a lot of unique little features. I love this a lot actually.
The memory issue is a bit of a shame though, have to restart every couple hours. Weaker browsers I imagine outright can't play this at all.

Only challenging level was 15 which required a bit of thinking. That first orc you bounce off the ghost skull, go to the left again and put her in the first chest.
Gets incredibly tedious towards the end and the charm of the game falls off. It's not fun having two giants on the screen at once, knowing that your hero is the only one who can actually do decent dps to one of them at a time. Which is further frustrated by how clunky and unresponsive the hero is to move, you tell him to do something and you better make sure you watch him as chances are he'll ignore you completely and just stand there like a tool.
alt2004's strategy is correct btw. Mage seems to be the best towers.
Also, as a suggestion, would be amazing to have a "How did I die" button. Because I find myself starting a round and dying literally instantly with no projectiles on screen. Is it my fault with a weird skill build I went like firestorm or is it the enemy?
Blood Link seems broken. Constantly killing and reviving the player, a bit weird when i'm the one on the lowest HP, why are you reducing my health and then giving it back to me? It's interupting my attack charges....

In case you're confused, it's 1 each side. So a layer of machine guns, a layer of heavy guns, a layer of lighting guns and then 2 layers of saws.
Badge hunters, this game is relatively easy without replaying for stars. I only had 1 upgrade into saw blades. I would say them and mortars are most important priority. After you get the enemies give more cash of course!
Word of warning, don't try chapter 5 on Hardcore / Hardest difficulty. I did so, even set the thing to level 1 encounters, thought it would be a cake walk. It. Was. Not. The level 5 hardcore enemies were incredibly challenging, that campaign is long and difficult with many boss fights. Do it normally or you'll regret it.
More tips for cave 5. The infamous invincible goblin.
Nothing new here, just want to say that Centaur, Succubus, Mermaids and Witches are almost essential. Succubus is a little dangerous that they throw up, but have best wave-clearing of the 4 against the counter-waves.
With a bit better timing, I managed to do cave 5 with only 2750 mana when you can work with a max 3500. So it just requires more time than difficulty getting these cards. I had to do 4 different full playthroughs.
The hard badge isn't that difficult. You don't even need helicopters an awful amount either. It's all about spamming out those trucks and trying to keep your plants producing and doing something.
Got the hard badge with helicopter speed upgrade completely untouched and the upgrade cost only half way. Once you have helicopters fully maxed they're probably much better than trucks but you can do without, shows how easy this game is.
Put the game on 0.8x speed if you're struggling to keep up.
You win when you capture the flag, just an fyi. So focus on knights, they're quickest. If you're lucky, you win before any tough waves appear. Makes those 30 levels go by slightly faster.
Just had my lucky break, level 100 with a warrior focused on armor-on-hit. Eventually turning it into a tanky, magic enchanted sword build.
Now I have more challenges to pursue, much larger starting resources. Here's where the fun experiments can actually begin.
