It's the game's 2 year anniversary. We got some cool free stuff, which is nice, because I enjoy playing this game. So thank you devs.
HOWEVER.
A) These level 1 accounts leaving comments are obnoxious and suspicious as hell.
B) The rating appeared to "magically" increase again. I swear it was at 3.9.
C) The "Mega anniversary pack" in game is amazing. But it costs a whopping $120. What the absolute hell devs? Why are the prices so damn inflated in this game? I've always thought about this. You make it so hard for me to want to support you.
D) The rewards for the anniversary challenge are meh. Couldn't buff it so it was somethign special?
More tips for you. Secret rooms spawn twice per 10 floors. Once between 1 and 5 and once between 6 to 9.
Mana regen is a from item drops later in the dungeon and some really good equipment comes with it. The Steam version I bought I much better due to resolution support, which zooms out the dungeons allowing more comfortable decision making. Super cheap, i'd suggest buying it if you want to see the ending. Pretty challenging and NewGame+ allows you to replay a lot.
The lag is from using mouse wheel and flooding the game with input it doesn't actually use. So be careful. If you accidentally use your mouse wheel, click outside the game and all those inputs will go to your browser instead and it'll stop the lag instantly.
Obviously go back and get 3 stars / night missions done once you've got 1 star on everything. It just means by the time you reach the end / boss you're stuck on, you're actually in a better position to do so.
Just 1 star new missions. Don't bother replaying unless you really want to. Max out that extra XP though, you'll level up 2 at a time sometimes instead of boring yourself on old missions and needing to do it 3 / 5 times each for just one level.
The most P2W card game i've played. You play a no turn cost 1/2, they play a no cast 5/12 that has vengeance 3, siphon 2 and armour 2. Seems good, really fcking fair!!!
Was going to do achievements only, but i'm actually enjoying the concept of the game. I like being able to min-max my heroes, and being restricted by hero level max = player level is a good compromise to not get too op. but if there's a few things it's got to be A) The obvious pay to win players and B) Stability of the servers. Frequently you'll get out of sync and forced to refresh.
Otherwise, the initial outrage at MMO's being badged is understandable but not reason enough to dislike the game. Honestly, it hurts the game. Even if a few players like me might stick around.
Join a guild and start getting extra exp, do the conquests and learn from the community, it's actually pretty fun despite it's flaws. The devs seem like they're working to improve stability.
Maybe i'm misunderstanding here...
Item sell / destroy values, eg +6 to destroy, don't seem to do anything. An item I had in question always had the same destroy value. Even if you didn't break it, etc. Not too sure how to properly use that.
Those effects are a little different than most item effects. Like you say, they actually do nothing on-use, but an item with +sell value would sell for more than normal even if it's never used.
"And the good news is... We've done the "resetting skill point" part :)"
Yeah, no. May as well not exist at all. It costs so much, it's 100% pointless. Not a good implementation at all. The fact it costs anything is a disaster on your part and completely goes against the grinding you're supposed to do in this game. You grind to get souls to reset, but you level up and increase the damn cost. What's the point?
For 90k souls, right now, i would get a staff 2x above my current one and then still have enough left over to get really good rings.
Need to reduce that cost asap. Anything more than 5% of the current cost is an insult to us all.
Two questions. Minto Free at the top, seems like I could hire my own army / men to help fight. A future update? Secondly, what's the blue reward box? It seems to do absolutely nothing, i'm not keen on it.
I found that a ranger, cleric and champion is possibly the best team to make. Champion will be upgraded to be your tank later, but straight away he has the most health and armour and will do a lot of damage thanks to his max damage +1. Cleric heals your tank by 2 each fight, he's also a good line of defence for your ranger. Later he upgrades to be able to heal 5 to one guy a fight, but also 3 to every one. He's a great pick in general. Ranger will kill those fast skeletons before they have time to attack you. Usually, she'd be too weak, but champion +1 ensures she's 1-hit kills.
The "towers" are buggy as hell. Or there's no real, clear indication of the reload speed. Because both my archers and Ballistas just seem to fail at shooting making defending a real pain in the ass.
I really, really, really....hate the branches....you don't see them until it's too late! That's bad game design, whether or not the background art is great!
WATCH OUT?!
Watch out what? A spike trap? A Hoplite? A low-hanging tent? For god's sake, Hippolyta, tell me what the hell is wrong before an arrow goes through your chest!
