P.S. There IS an update for this game. It's called Bubble Tanks TD 1.5. The link on Kongregate is http://www.kongregate.com/games/HeroInteractive/bubble-tanks-td-1-5. If you didn't like the bugs here, try that game.
I agree, this game is impossible, UNTIL you learn ho to juggle enemies. Once you've learned how to do that, it becomes too easy. Since you either have too easy or impossible difficulty, and nothing in-between, I didn't like the game, so only 2/5 Stars from me.
Good game, so 4/5 Stars. Only problem is that for some levels it fails you even though in a few more seconds you would beat the level. Make it so that the level only ends when you tell it too, and it will get 5 Stars.
Hell mode is definitely hard. But I found the trick to doing it. Repeatedly do the first stage until you unlock Hood the Rabbit, while choosing upgrades that boost food regeneration, and increased experience/gold/items/skill chances. Use the healing and poison weapons, with either whirlwind or fire maces as the third weapon, with either food regeneration and/or experience gain rings. This will allow you to level up quickly, summon a row of rabbit archers, who should kill most enemies very quickly. For boss enemies, use poison on them, and then blow them backward or heal. The fire mace is if you don't have a high level whirlwind mace, so you can use it to destroy a mob of enemies. Rate up if this helps you in Hell mode. :-)
@WolfenBluestone: Making the game longer and adding puzzles would defeat the purpose of the game, which is to be a single task, unlosable, defeatable in 1 minute game.
Very bad game, only 2/5 Stars. You can't shoot through opponents corpses, the controls have a habit of continually crawling in one direction if you try to move while ducking, the Kill Spree key is right in-between the jump key and the reload key (so you have to worry about accidentally activating it), your character can be right over another character (meaning you can't shoot the opponent in the head), and finally the game is basically a huge grind if you try to level up 4 characters (so you might as well just stick with one for the entire Campaign mode.)
@skintkinge: I have no idea what you are referring to about Rogan and Zucantah. @stand out: No, you can't win the first battle. Enemies are too strong, plus, it would ruin the storyline if you DID win.
It would be nice if the Skills and Specials were had dividers, so that all the attacks would be grouped together, and all the buffs and debuffs would be grouped together, while making it so that if one group is at the top for one character, it will be at the top for all three. I kept spending a lot of time trying to find where the healing skills were. For one character it was at the top, for another it was the very last one, and for another it was in the middle. I also noticed three bugs: First, I noticed that the limit break Genesis removed the buffs for two of the three people in my party. I also noticed that I could cast Purify on someone who had been turned into a slime and remove the debuff even though it the debuff said their is no known cure except time and death. Finally, after I beat the game, the Continue button didn't work.
Two major problems with this game. First, if you tap the X key to quickly, it only registers a few of the key presses, so to win the mini-games where you need to press X rapidly, it is better to just do regular taps as if you are typing. Second, there REALLY needs to be a tree in the ending screen showing how to get to the different endings. Because of these problems I didn't like the game, so only 2/5 Stars.
Pretty good game. Once you realize you will only be able to get the parts in a certain order, and that new characters appear when you place each piece in the ship, the game becomes much simpler. To place the pieces, press the buttons on the control panel in the deepest parts of the ship in the order that the symbols in the book in the ship are circled, and then press the lit green circle just to the right of the circles on the panel. The order is using the knife on the apple, and giving the teeth to a spirit. The second part you get by talking to the spirit behind the ship, and the clicking on the swamp outside of the hut. The third and final piece is found then by trying to leave the ship (use the knife as the conductor for the wires) and using the hammer on the third spirit right outside the ship. I hope this helps. : )
Very good game. Here is something I noticed, that should save people time. You only get more money when your score for a level is above what your best record for a level is. Therefore, the money upgrades should always take priority. Once you have gotten a higher level money upgrade, go back and try for the best combo for each stage. With the +150% money upgrade, and going through all the stages with the highest combo, and also getting the free money for clicking the two links from the side bar in the Upgrades screen, I was able to buy all the upgrades and had $53,588 to spare, for a total of $646,588 earned all together. I hope this helps!
I liked the game, so 3/5 Stars. What it could really use is more storyline, and a way to carry your units from one stage to the next, and finally, once they apply a debuff on an enemy, like poison, to not attack that enemy anymore but instead to focus on applying the debuff to as many enemies as possible. It's also annoying how the front line units get all the exp, when you want all your units to level up evenly.
Easy game, though the Morse code part for unlocking the tackle box is annoying, as well as the ad, but the ad should be removed soon. So, I give it 4/5 Stars.
This game still has the same bug as the previous game. You can’t rapid fire on the ground, so the only way to destroy the dodge orange slimes is to jump, fire JUST before landing, and then fire again after you land, but not immediately otherwise it will dodge both. They also forgot to mention in this game you duck. So still only 3/5 Stars for this game also.
Thanks, I'm going to tweak the timeout logic in future versions :)
