Is there no way to get out of "to infinity and beyond" without reloading the game? I've started reading a book but now that I've checked I can't see that anything has slowed down in any way during the last half hour or so o.O (I've not found any ways to get to any kind of menu or something either).
Map 110 Hard Bluegaria was interesting, almost a bit like trench or attrition warfare (66 turns without "specials"). Huge mess in the middle and middle bottom, five or six shipwrecks on land afterwards.
Err... no saves? I just checked that the Flash SharedObjects are intact (i.e. I didn't clear them --hell I even back those up after every Kongregate visit) but a quick look didn't find one for this game and either way the game doesn't care... The game is too long to care without a savefile.
Wow Adobe are really ruining Flash aren't they? Autodeletion of sol files and the laggiest Flash version ever that seems to need a tea break every half minute no matter if it's tiny or huge games (it's not my computer).
Game does not save in my experience (Flash 11 Firefox 10). I beat the 2nd tournament (swamp) but didn't get the badge and after a while I thought I might as well log on the next day to see if it would trigger then (and while the thought of taking a screenshot crossed my mind I didn't take one). Bah, meh, and whatever! I won't bother any more, no pirate card for me *grumble*
To mute: click the icon on the right side (looks a bit like the electro symbol for speaker), it's right above the icon that looks like a Q. One can only mute after starting a game but it stays muted unless one reloads the page.
Silver Oak really brought home to me how much care has been taken in giving entirely different gameplay experiences on Easy and Normal on the challenges. This game is a work of art :)
Tarlang I did mostly archers and then about four barracks, leveled up archers as much as possible from the get-go for their increased range, barracks on the "outside" spots as well as one covering the exit (and possibly one additional one along the right-side path, not sure if I did that in the one I won with). Upgrade "enough" at the start since it's easier to fill empty spots with archer emplacements later than it is to upgrade later. However if you haven't then first upgrade as much as possible (one gets stars for completing on easy as well) or redistribute to max archers and max soldiers and max reinforcements and max comets. Comets on the entry are usually the better choice and often the reinforcements went to the right (all up to the exit. ____It will be close!___ :D (took me several tries with minor variations).
Map 999999 hard, nice chokepoint (better for some colors). Keep "pets" by not killing their capitals until you've got them all isolated at the same time (i.e. all AI players only control 1 hex each). Give a "victory" speech at the beginning of the last round XD
Love the flying sheep you get when polymorphing flying stuff XD 5/5 Awesome but quite hard at times (I have to scrounge upgrade points from Easy mode). And of course: ___Zay Helo To My Litel Freind!___ <3 lololol
