Needs a respec. The time challenges are extremely difficult, and some of the upgrades seem rather unbalanced (i.e. getting 1% more for each laser point).
Could use more kinds of upgrades and more levels. Fun little game. 4/5
Clicking back to menu erases your progress. Game needs a save feature. First level is too difficult on the first try (you really can't beat it without upgrades). Interface needs work. None of the controls or timing is obvious. Concept is good, just needs better implementation.
I used to play Jezzball on a TI 83 graphing calculator. Very simple game. How about adding some additional features to make the game really unique and fun rather than simply cloning an old game?
I seemed to have froze the game by building about 200 troops on wave 37 endless mode. The game engine is too intensive, or maybe there's a memory leak, although my ram is only at 1.5 GB, cpu is near 100%. Intel Pentium T4400 (dual core) laptop, 3 GB ram, intel graphics. Flash isn't graphic intensive though.
Clicking the calendar button doesn't help. The game has been stuck on this wave for about 20 minutes.
Extremely easy. Health never got below 90% except on bosses. I think there were just too many crates/boxes. It got really excessive and it was annoying breaking them all (plus you couldn't get ones left when you completed a level/area). Could have added some additional game play with the weapons. Also, the "L attack" flying kick seemed too easy to use and overpowered. Still, I haven't played such a well made fun flash game in a long time. Loved the game. 5/5
Oh, one more thing. Swords pwn all! Balance the other units and allow some archers to be placed on the wall. Maybe add some more units like siege also (or make the mages more powerful).
High score system is counter intuitive. The highest score is the person that keyboard smashes for hours while only sending enough troops to protect the castle indefinitely.
Penalties for wrong letters should increase the more wrong letters are used (maybe with soem cool-down period). Also, points should be awarded based on time (lower = better).
Also, more category hints are needed. The types of words and phrases are horribly random (and colors seem too common).
Actually what would probably balance the penalty system would be to make penalties more severe for longer words and phrases (it's easy to fill in long phrases just from keyboard smashing common letters).
Takes a lot of ideas from Gemcraft, but I like that there are more towers and that you can put gems into them to upgrade them. However, this game needs balance. Some towers are too weak to be really useful. For your first game in AS 3 it's really good. I'd like to see an improved version of this game after you fix and improve a few things. It has potential.
One of my units got stuck on a tree trying to harvest lumber. I couldn't move him. Need a way to kill friendly units if they get stuck or fix that bug. Game play is slow. Could use a speed up button to get resources faster. Needs better unit controls. Should be a way to unselect units (not by clicking on a different unit). game play area is small, even for a defense game. Could use screen scrolling. Also needs better battle AI. My troops just stand in the corner while the guy in front attacks an army by himself. I didn't like not being able to build multiple castles and a tight unit maximum per level. Game play arena has very limited space for buildings. Also seems like too much time between waves to build up.
Fun game, don't see many Flash RTS games, but needs some improvements. 3/5.
Levels are horribly easy (can beat all enemies + boss with just one unit on easy), except for bonus. Level 2 took 4 tries on easy. Game needs BALANCE. Also found a bug where clicking to start level did not work (had to go back to map and try again). Great concept but needs work.
Controls are awkward. Mouse controls would be way more fun. love the concept. Needs upgrades/power-ups (though rampage was fun while it lasted). Also you should be able to kill those bomber planes. They seem a bit too high out of reach.
Cute game. Needs some story line and something to make the game interesting besides just hitting the same target over and over with the same bow over and over.
