I relied primarily on lightning for early multi kill cash, put up energy and castle when I needed to refill, and got slow for bosses. upgraded wizard sort of sporadically.
Interesting that ppl are beating that last lvl with different strategies, I used 4 rows of archers a row of walls and 3 rows of ice orbs, fire/ice/fire combo to kill drakes, and cannon to help with elementals, occasionally had to heal walls.
Note to developer, the walls change texture when damaged but don't change back the other way when healed, this can make it tricky to keep track of which ones are still damaged.
I'm sure I'll get flamed by people who hate grinding for suggesting this, but the amount of xp given for beating the final boss seems a bit excessive. Naturally the boss will give a bunch more xp then regular minions, but to go from 20 xp for a beef zombie to 5000 is kinda crazy. The first time I beat the boss I barely survived, then I replayed it to farm xp before attempting to get gold skulls on every level, and on the second attempt I already got a gold skull on the boss level, cuz that's just how much xp he gives you O.O
I probably would have been content with 500, and it would avoid the issue of the number overlapping the equal sign on the level complete screen too :P
Thanks for the feedback. I love for every one to play my game multiple times, but I would hate for them to have to try every level 3-4 times to be able to complete all achievements. That is why the 5000 as a reward :)
Lot's of people are talking about siege guns, but I found missiles to be very effective, they have long range, high damage, and homing for better accuracy. Also the death ray when you unlock it is way OP, final boss went down in less then a second for me.
Some constructive criticism: First this game doesn't really require the player to make any real 'choices' which is unusual for a modern game, just switching the lvl up process from automatic to manual would give ppl something to think about besides where to go next. I also found the boss fights to be a little too easy for my liking. That being said I did enjoy playing the game.
I tried all the free roster ships in solo mode to learn to play, and enjoyed the game. I tried my favourite one in a pvp match, and the game was unplayable, it lagged so bad I couldn't even tell which direction the enemies were to shoot at them, they just spasm all over the place. Wouldn't be the first time I've seen an mmo's servers get overloaded due to badgeing though, so I guess I should give the devs the benefit of the doubt.
I was actually expecting a little more from a game with this premise, like breaking the established rules by making the ball randomly curve around in weird directions, or sticking obstacles on the screen to aid the AI.
The golden gun reference made me smile, but it ought to be more expensive, it's ability to kill zombies in one hit from a far distance makes it a much better weapon than the flame thrower
